    It don't get much better than this. I needed to remove rear bumper on 2014 Fusion because someone backed into the wife's driver side rear quarter panel. The impact hit the wiring for the rear parking sensors up against the steel bumper perfectly to cut them clean off. Took about 2 hours of removing … adding wire and soldering to the 6 sensor signal wires. Hooked things up before assembling everything back together and it works. Not very much damage to the bumper … like a 2 inch slit … hard to see so not going to worry about that. Thanks for taking the time to make this very helpful video.

    Got hit in the back, no real damage but one of the backup sensors popped in. Only way to fix it was remove the bumper cover. Saved this guy a bill from the collision shop! Great video, easy sub.

    Sir, I found this video very useful when installing a towbar on a 2015 Ford Mondeo, (EU version of Fusion).
    I thank you for your time and also the very high quality. At 1.21 where you removed the rear light, I use a cable
    tie. I fed it up from the bottom of the light in a 2 o'clock direction and the joined it together. This left me with
    a loop to pull the unit straight off. I feared using a pry tool in case I scratched the paint as I would not be as experienced
    as you. Again thank you for a wonderful video.

    Hi, There. Nice Video and this should help me out. Someone scraped the side of my 2016 Fusion and the side has come out at the top where the clips are that you show in the video that just push in? I tried pushing it back in but it will not go. any ideas?

    If your rear bumper has a sensor, do you have to remove any wires?

    • @happywrenching
      @happywrenching  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you do have the rear parking assist sensors then there should be a single connector on the driver's side of the rear bumper that you will need to unplug.
