On speakers, the wire is wobbly probably because it's only held inside the case by a knot that cannot fit through the hole. I saw it on newer super-cheap speakers and it was an extremely common way to make stuff cheaper in the past.
The reason the volume is on the cable and not the speaker is, you would have to cast a different mold for that speaker, and that would rise the price, so bye bye bargain price.
Daiso Korea claims to offer a distinct product range compared to Daiso stores in other nations, operating as an independent entity. Nonetheless, they maintain the common slogan: 'Make unnecessary products seem necessary.'
ive frequented a daiso store in the philippines many times and have never discovered such treasures as these. that said. that webcam is 100% usable. id take that any day over one of those $100+ logitech ones that sold out during rona.
The headset's mic honestly sounded better than some headsets more than 10 times its price. I was expecting him to say any moment that he was accidentally using his lapel mic or something.
G'day Dawid, Anna & Neko, 7:17 🤔Neko has a new friend Wristo 😂 9:34 Dawid trying to Escape from Maxtill I love these "How crap are they videos?" so much fun seeing Dawid suffer to educate us 😂😂😂😂😂
For $3 a pop, the quality of the webcam isn't terrible and the mic on the headset was also usable. It's hard to gauge the quality of the sound from the speakers or headset through the video but for $3 each if they even produced any sound at all then you are getting a deal. I took a flier on some computer speakers from Temu that they were giving me for free. I was hoping to use them with my Microsoft Surface Pro to get more/better audio. However after using them I properly sent them straight to the electronics recycling bin. You could barely hear the audio with the volume cranked. The treble was definitely there but it lacked any sort of mids and bass response entirely. The tiny speakers on the Microsoft Surface put these things to shame.
that cable thing in speaker is a normal thing for budget ones, there is a knot made with a cable to keep it inside and it's loosely soldered a tug would probably break solder so it would be repairable quite easily
Less plastic to use and pay for during production. Basically cheaper than those older wired controllers that have plastic lugs built in to take the stress from the cable and not have the wire pulled out during regular use.
6:14 Measuring the f stop in mm was pretty common... 70 years ago. I collect (and regularly use) vintage camera gear, and almost all of them are labeled this way. Why they done it on the webcam tho, idk

Got speakers like that once. They worked completely for 3 hours and a component in them burned out. What a wase of money and time for everyone involved.
That is indeed a nice web cam, could easily record with it along with a good video source, use it as an effects real for overlays of saturation and granularity :)
Adding the volume knob to the speaker itself means they need to double the mold tooling costs for the front panels, since they would need a different mold for the left and right.
