i just think of it as opposite sided like air craft lights. left hand is down its a right and rt hand down is left. acft lights are red on left right is green. Great demostration and thanks for taking the time to make it. cheers.
Hi Anthony, I need a little more information from you. Which prop is on the boat now (size and/or part #) and how does it perform (does it pop right up on plane, are you reaching your wide open throttle RPM? I will be out of town for the next week, but you can email me at chris.propshop@comcast.net ( I can't guarantee I will be checking my email that much, but I will do my best) or you can call our office at 800-634-8318.
That helps next question just wondering have old boat need to replace prop don't want to spend alot of money have a 3 blade right hand prop if I measure the gear case can I match it up with same size like is there a universal type to use I don't want to go through a dealer boat not worth investing alot of money Thanks
Sorry, I just saw your comment. Your right hand fingers would still point down on a LH prop, you would just be looking at the backside of the prop without the cupping. If you used your left hand, your fingers would point up. - Chris

I have a 19p aluminum prop and not getting on plate unless I stand on the bow
Well i feel dumb now
This is dumb since one does not know which side prop is sitting if makes a difference. Should do this on a MOUNTED prop!
The brass, compition propeller, are you showing us back or larger end of taper or opposite ,( nut end or cutless bearing ( side/ forward
