How to change oil and filter. I meant 2005, Sorry. Please click like and subscribe. Click the thumbs up button please,,,,Enjoy!!
two and a half years later you still teach a good class!!! Informative and to the subject. Takes uncertainty out of the way. Thank You
Just so there isn’t any confusion, the 3.8 liter mark on the valve cover doesn’t have anything to do with the oil capacity. It is the engine displacement. Any similarity of the 3.8 and the number of quarts for oil and filter change is purely coincidental. Check your owner’s manual for oil change info.
Yeah, I couldn't believe it. The way he makes it sound it's like the valve cover would indicate the oil capacity (which it does NOT). Pretty bad scripting.
@@shelbynamels973Saw one video where the guy pretended to know how to change the transmission fluid. He drained the pan and proceeded to put the full fluid amount back in the trans, not knowing that you have to measure what was drained out and refill that amount because the full quantity never drains out. Scary.
Do these model vans come with oil reset maintenance light I'm not sure if they do or not but I know the newer ones most definitely does
I think this is meant to say 2005 in the video. However You said 2015. The 2015 Body style is different.
you are so correct. thank you for making me aware. cheers
He mis-speaks hen he says 2015 at the beginning of the video. It is a 2005.
Never use dirty oil to coat the seal with! Always fill up the filter til it doesn't take any more oil than use what's in the filter to çoat the seal.
Doesnt matter.
What oil you use to coat the seal is a minor quibble. Oil on the seal doesn't enter the engine's oil supply. But I would encourage anyone doing this to prime - fill up - the oil filter with clean oil before installation. That is the standard of service on big rig engines, considering those filters hold a gallon of oil. Even tho the Chrysler filter is way smaller, it's still good practice.
Nice work
Uh.... how bout using clean oil for the filter. I know it's just a little bit but....
And you didn't check if the gasket came off with it......
It says 2005 Chrysler T&C on the title ? Misleading and easy to fix.
It is a 2005 he misspoke
@@jamescollier3280He does the same thing with every vid for this vehicle! It is a 2005.
