Almost like we need another team or two to accommodate deserving drivers
Maybe even two teams.
Man, that's a whole nother WTF moment. Just let Andretti join...
Andretti is one possibility
@@seanbrennan9188 that's the joke. The F1 teams are blocking Andretti.
Andretti provides no material benefit to F1…. Sounds like a reasonable statement to me lol
Funny how the first season to see a complete carry-over of teams/drivers has been followed by a period of extreme turbulence...
"Calm before storm" =))
One situation led to the other.
The TBC[Lance Stroll] gets me angry every time
It's quite funny you know 😂, and i feel you broo, just get the F out of lance already, and get liam lawson or someone who win of F2
He might do fine in Sportscars. There are Aston Martins is a lot of series.
Especially when fernando confirmed lance when he confirmed himself
Well, think that one day he'll have to retire for good.
I think it’s funny. Why get angry over something you can’t control?
Yuki deserves a spot in the top 5 teams, he's been putting up good performances this season. Would've loved to see him replace Nepo-baby Stroll
They literally spent 10 minutes just saying "the driver market is volatile and we don't know who is going where" in different ways...
Yes that's the premise of a speculation video lol
Have you heard of things like "nuance" and "context"?
You do know you’re not obligated to watch any video you don’t find interesting right lol
@@Ch3mG33k the video is about an interesting topic, is being made by people who could have lots of interesting info, but it's actually got no interesting info and that's not really clear until the video is almost over.
Brah all these F1 channels are the same, just speculation, pontificating, rumor mongering, clueless divs
Yuki losing his seat would be horrible. He showed nothing less than pure pace this year.
I'd love to see Yuki in the AMR instead of Lance. Maybe Stroll comes to his senses that F1 might not be his future anymore and finally leave the scene to give better drivers the spotlight.
Stroll isn't really much worse than Kevin, Logan, Gasly or even Checo most races. It's just a meme because of his guaranteed seat that Lance gets shit on, where equally shit drivers like those I mentioned gets a renewed contract and nobody cares
@@jonaseriksson3782 Lance may be just as bad or worse but the fact that there's drivers like Tsunoda and Bottas not getting an opportunity at Aston since Lance is a Nepo-baby and they have to fend off for B teams since there's really no other chance in the top 5 is what pisses off most fans
Lance is dog shit. But he’s not here for a career. He doesn’t need a job. He’s loaded. He’s in F1 because this is a hobby for him. It’s his Sunday league and as long as he can do it while daddy pays the bills, why not? So unrealistic to think Lance is going anywhere, especially if you think his presence is based on performance.
@@malvinelpinnoyand the fact that aston is literally the 4th or 5th fastest team and lance is literally getting eliminated in q1 and battling with much slower cars in the midfield where he shudnt be in the first place
I would love to see Tsunoda in a better seat to see if he proves himself to some top teams
Will Ben blink this time?
Edit: Twice, he blinked twice in a 10 minute video....
He blinked once around 1:19
@@nicolaabate8730 I don’t think he did… I think he looked downwards
He is stiff as shit 😂
My money is on Zhou ending up at Hass. He's got a few years experience, drove steady without lots of accidents and brings in Chinese sponsorship money.
Bearman and Zhao team up in Haas.
I hope not. Zhou is fine as a second driver, but they need someone better than him to pair with a rookie.
I think Bottas is a better choice for Haas, especially if the other seat is filled with Bearman.
I think he'll go to Alpine, just because Renault never signs their rookies and there won't be anyone showing interest in them
An "American" team with Chinese sponsors and a Chinese driver is just hilarious
this silly season is already giving the kind of moves you could only dream of getting in my team career mode on the F1 games
All we're missing is the WDC moving to Haas.😂
@@Procrastinatingtiger Max in Haas would blow up entire world 😆
and funnily enough the most unlikely move is the first one to be made
Andretti would help this situation immensely
unless they bring their own American drivers with them
Didn't Andretti wanted the team as all American
@Romit12 Not sure if that was ever explicitly stated
2028 so its dosnt matter
i dont know how and why i realised this in exactly this video, but fernando alonsos first win in f1 is probably older than a lot of the new fans that came after DTS
Nando won his second championship the year i was born
I work as a teacher and many of my students are younger than his last win...
Logan and Magnussen are done, that's almost guaranteed. Antonelli, Bearman and Lawson will get their seats. So who will the third one to be booted be? It's either going to be Zhou Guanyu, Daniel Ricciardo or Valtteri Bottas it seems.
50% chance they will get their seats. Yes or no.
Ricciardo because the chances of him ending in another team like Haas are almost zero.
All others have pretty solid plans B
Could be Perez if Red Bull want to replace him with Sainz.
@@RoyMatzem Yeah might be. But Ricciardo did start to show some serious improvements after he got his new chassis. He might be on to something now, after it looked very bleak for a while. And we all know he he had skills a few years ago.
Bearman already has Hulk's seat to fill if they really want him. As for Kev Mag only if Haas decides to get Bottas or Zhou. More the former as I don't think they'll be up to a Bearman/Zhou lineup.
Ben Anderson? I used to race against you and your sister in 250 gearbox karts! Blast from the past mate!
It's crazy that Pourchaire will probably never get into F1. He should be a top choice for Sauber as their star junior.
He just haven't been that impressive. Luck more than speed won him the F2 championship.
Pourchaire and Drugovich, the last two F2 winners probably won't ever drive in F1
Why he has a great seat and can only prove himself..
Drugovich is no f1 material
I feel like Ben is staring into my soul, i don't think i am going to recover. Great stuff as always guys!
Ocon gasly will probably get seats at alpine at least so I m not worried about them as alpine will do everything in power to keep the only competent part of it's team.
7:09 I don't agree with Scott towards Yuki, I think he is pretty safe in RB, he is performing very good even compared to a good Ricciardo and the Team is also in an upwards motion challenging 5th place. So I think there is no Reason for neither RB nor their drivers to search a change.
Someone has to go because they need to bring Lawson in.
Ricciardo might be in the most endangered position, but the season is still early and he might turn things around to his benefits. If that happens RB themselves will make him the priority him over Yuki, and that could be a very bad situation for Yuki.
Ricciardo is Red Bull's plan A and Yuki is not even in any plan.
Red Bull can readily dispose Perez, even though he is doing decent right now, but soon as the competition gets tighter (with Ferrari and Mclaren closing in), Red Bull have no other reliable second driver than Perez, so they might keep him for awhile until Ricciardo completely find his form.
So things could end up really bad for Yuki
if Ricciardo find his form and Ferrari/Mclaren offer a real competition this season (and next year)
@@gelmir7322 Yeah Ricciardo and Yuki have to find consistent form, but if they keep on doing this they both keep their seats. I think for the RedBull Company it is more important to keep consistent results going instead of taking even a small risk by bringing in a young inexperienced driver.
@@JustusMarx
RB is exactly the team Red Bull have if they want to take a risk bringing-in inexperience young drivers.
I would say Lawson has the priority over Yuki who is only mainly there because of Honda.
(Sure he is part of the Red Bull junior program but again that's only because of Honda and that's the reason why they will never consider Yuki as a Red Bull driver).
And now that Honda is switching to Aston Martin, they have no reason to give Yuki seat when their own talents do not have one.
Yuki could still be safe next year, but by 2026 regardless of his results Red Bull will kick him out.
@@gelmir7322 I'll take the bet. 2026 we will see 🤝🏼
Even though he's been really good and consistent these last two seasons, it seems like he isn't an option that is being considered by RedBull so I don't think he'll have a future there.
Imo Yuki has to try to find somewhere he'll have the potential to grow and not stay in RB where he'll just be stagnant until Red Bull decides to sack him for a new rookie
Too many deserving drivers too few teams
Absolutely not .... to many wannabees

@@inahole2678I thought it was 9min
@@inahole2678 Yup, it's 8 now
Logan is definitely one that’s being dropped by the end of the year.
And I also agree, there’s a pretty decent chance they drop him mid season, to start building some chemistry with the new driver.
Feels shitty to say about a young man who hasn’t been around all too long (considering everyone else), but he’s just struggling way too much this season..
"There isn't much a reason to keep on Zhou"
*Largest market in the world's 1b people enter the chat*
What has that translated to in these 3 years?
@@soundscape26 a lot of money
@@doctorgras8650 Let's see how far that money can keep Zhou and his underwhelming performances on the grid.
@@soundscape26 yeah, I like the guy but to stay in the sport he's gotta preform and he's hasn't shown anything special so far
@@soundscape26 why has Logan been on the grid for 2 years averaging P19 in every format while De Vries is booted after 10 races? Why does Stroll keep his seat? Why was Checo chosen of Bottas? F1 coddles emerging markets like Asia, North/South/Central America, its where the growth is, and any organization whether they make cookies and crackers or if they put on races is going to be growth-oriented from the ground up. Zhou's Chinese Grand Prix was HORRIBLE yet a market worth 1b people cheered his every single move.
Always makes me chuckle when I see the list of all the driver's and their contract and Stroll's is "Stroll - rolling" or "Stroll - Lawrence" gotta love it
I didn't quite realise just how much money and backing Antonelli has... which to have that WITH immense talent is rare. So now I kind of understand the hype a bit more.
I'm pretty sure Mercedes is paying 100% of his F2 drive
The race to secure Stroll continues.
Bottas return to Mercedes as a seat warmer for Antonella?
Makes sense.
The weird situation The Race’s volatile rumormongering is creating
They're doing exactly the same as fans... discussing on the market.
I Would get rid of magnusson, Zhou, stroll (Impossible I know) & seargent for sure. Bottas, yuki, gasly, ricciardo & ocon are a maybe to get rid off (I like yuki & bottas and even gasly). 100% get bearman in for haas and antonelli for Williams always good getting young blood in, Hamilton/alonso/raikonnen as youths were incredible plus many more for evidence. The rest is voodo! depends on wages and sponsorship which is all done behind closed doors. Fight me over it 😂
I think that a great part of the volatility on the market is rumors, too many journalists just making “probable” situations and this adds up to the teams to make decisions.
we need more teams
We need two types of drivers on the grid,
The ones that race and the ones that create yellow flags so we can see the ones that race get closer.
There’s Stroll for yellow flags and then everyone else
@@_8bitHERO_ agreed, although, K-Mag gave a good race at Monza 2020
i think Zhou has a potential to move to another team or stay, Bottas is harder to predict, he could stay, he could move to another team, or he could retire
to see driver changes is always a good thing
Some of my favorite people on 1 screen.
Can't wait to see next moves to be made
And what about Daniel Ricciardo? If he doesn´t get Red Bull seat for ´25, would RB be interested to keep him?
Probably not, they will put Lawson in his place.
I think sainz to williams would be good for both parties, a highly consistent race winner on his day alongside a younger high potential driver in a team growing year on year
Your videos about drivers leaving mid season have literally all been rumors
and here you are, watching it. mission accomplished
@@crheming That's not the point, it's the twitter journalism that's sad.
@@AJ-zy9jf I agree
They are not spreading rumors as much as they are speculating where the out-of-contract drivers will be in 2025. It’s pretty obvious that Logan Sargeant will be gone for 2025, unless he surpasses Alex Albon at Williams and actually starts to drive like an F1 driver. Right now Sargeant reminds me of everything that was wrong with Nikita Mazepin at Haas in 2021. And Sargeant is driving a better car than what Haas had in 2021. At the end of the 2021 season, Mazepin finished the Driver championship in 21st place, behind Robert Kubica (who only raced in two races)!
I could imagine that Magnussen wouldn't be too fused with moving on from F1 AGAIN, if he had assurances from a Hypercar team for a seat in the WEC for next season. I forget which team he was with when Haas called him back (I want to say Peugeot, but that might be wrong).
Let's talk about how these upcoming moves or the possibility of being dropped effects the racing. Teams aren't going to sabotage themselves but naturally the team is going to focus more on the driver who is staying so we can expect less support and second choice on strategy for Sainz and Hamilton. Haas is still going to treat Hulkenberg like a #1 even if he is leaving because they need the points / money. In the recent past we have seen drivers who are on their way out get aggressive trying to prove themselves to other potential teams, like Giovinazzi in his last season at his home race. Will we see KMag and Sargent and Zhou and maybe even Bottas making costly errors because they are pushing so hard for that one great performance that sticks in people's minds.
Ironically watching this and Albon contract extension just been announced. James must have done some real sweet talking
His seen money being poured into infrastructure development behind the scenes plus his happy at Williams where they have made him believe his a championship caliber driver. Why would you leave?
That and the fact that Albon couldn't find a better seat elsewhere.
Ahhh nice to put a face to the names. I do remember Ben from Autosport though.
Carlos decision will decide every other driver’s without contract career
Bring in Lawson, Bearman, Drugovich and Antonelli.
Love glenn as host.
Bring Back V10s is awesome
But is Zhou actually slower than Bottas tho? Even though Zhou have a slower time at qualifying but we kept on seeing that Zhou is faster than Bottas in any race, higher race position than Bottas until those 30-50s pitstops. (I'm not saying this because I'm Chinese but it's the truth)
Zhou matches Bottas’ pace in the race. He just slower in 1 lap. Also he brings I huge money so I think he is more likely to stay than Bottas
Although we will probably never know, I would not be surprised ( if Lawrence Stroll was to successfully attract Sainz) that Lance will have already agreed to stand down to accommodate him. (Lance will remain at Aston Martin as co- owner and as #3/ test driver).
I'd have also put Danny Ric into that bracket too.
Love the mewing all video
With the way Magnussen is going, I’d put money on Bearman being in Haas this year not just next year (for just 1 or 2 races of course)
albon to merc im thinking
If Yuki goes and Daniel stays what’s the point of showing consist pace.
I could see Yuki eventually ending up at Aston because of Honda's influence. At some point Stroll will realize his son isn't an elite driver and do what's right for the team, or the investors will finally get fed up with losing places an payouts in the WCC rankings and pressure papa to do so.
In the immediate short term I don't care who goes to Aston Martin so long as we see Lance Stroll dropped.
Yes yuki should go somewhere if max stays in redbull
this video has a weirder cut than the driver market scenario
I’d take Ocon over Gasly any day of if I were recruiting.
No mention of Perez. And the redbul seat. That’s a huge question mark and reason Sainz and other drivers s haven’t made any early decisions.
Watch at x1.25 speed
Mundane performances will see drivers dropped and new talent coming through makes it risky for some
Imagine if Valterri was given a 1 year try contract with RedBull.
It would give Valteri and fans of the unrestrained battle against Hamilton they wanted.
I'd love to see Bottas replacing Stroll
I'd like to see Bottas drive for a decent team but have a hard time imagining him at Haas. The flurry of curse words coming from Tsunoda while driving a Haas would be exceptional and awesome though.
Bottas could go back to Mercedes while Antonelli gets some F1 experience at Williams. Mercedes needs someone with a short term contract and Bottas might find himself kicked out of Stake.
Not a mention of Liam Lawson...
For all the dramas, there's no mention of Checo. Yes, doing good so far but the power struggles in Red Bull will I think affect his seat. Sainz and DR rumors are in that mix.
I think they''ll retain Perez for 2025.
Interesting how keeping an underperforming driver in a seat due to blatant nepotism is just accepted. It appears very clear that Lawernce Stroll’s top priority is not the overall performance of the team (despite the significant $$ he has spent to improve performance). Rather, the top priority appears to be keeping his only son racing in F1. From an objective perspective dear Lance, as talented as he is, should be off to sports cars by now. The short-sighted effect of passing over race winners like Charlie Sainz and Serg Perez to keep the favored son in a seat is, well, statistically unsupportable. Yet the old man is willing to give up performance to keep his pampered kid in a seat. I guess it’s his money and if he gets more pleasure out of spoiling his children rather than rewarding the hard work of his team then so be it. The toll it takes on those in the trenches, however, must be measurable. Pity that this kind of nepotism is just accepted as SOP.
Is the possibility of a Sainz signing enough to get rid of Stroll?
fuck ferrari for getting rid of sainz
And Albon has signed a multi year deal with Williams, all the sniffing around the paddock and no experts picked up on it lol
Albon to Mercedes, Antonelli to Williams
I would love that
Hopefully Honda does to Lawrence Stroll what they did to Eddie Jordan and tell him he has to drop Lance if he wants Honda engines
Why not have a rule for 2030 and beyond "Only 1 year contracts for all drivers - can only be signed between may-nov. I like this jeopardy and drama and also it gives new drivers a chance to sneak in. The time window stops team (e.g. McLarren) locking out other options super early and only 1 year means all drivers have the pressure (even the best). If it remains locked-in as 10 teams, I think this would be good. If it's a massive problem, maybe 2 year max would be a good compromise. Personally, I'd like an additional rule that says "you can't sign for the same team for more than 5 consecutive years" to make sure things get a good shake up every now and again
I'm getting the feeling that Sainz is running out of time
We don’t need more seats, only the BEST will race, this will make teams prioritize talent instead of money, make it harder for people to buy a seat and instead force teams to look for real talent to occupy the seat
You are forgetting about Schumacher could get the Mercedes seat being the test driver for the team
No he wont. Totto has said his future is not with Mercedes.
KMAG TO INDYCAR. That would be so much fun
Tbh I feel like Zhou is probably safer than Bottas in all honesty. He has the benefit of inexperience - he has more to come. Bottas is known and not a bad driver but you know he probably will not become better with any more experience
Wee need 26 cars on grid with 13 teams.
This would solve the major issues with l this crap.
I'd rather see a 26 to 30 car race.
Again where do you wanna race ? Dts babys
there is currently no place on the track already - this move would be very short-sighted
this would be a total shitshow
Breaking news, there is no news
What if !? Each team had 3 drivers instead of just two then everyone would be a happy camper lol
this level of speculation is wild and not enjoyable
Yuki and Pierre in Alpine would be awesome. And then ocon go to Audi or Mercedes.
The real issue is not 2025 it’s 2026 that matters unless they sign a long contract.
10 mins of 'I dont know' and No mention for Ricciardo or Perez
I think things are working out really poorly for Albon to make a big move. Put in great performances when it wasn’t of use and hasn’t got the car to do so now that it might be.
Albon has more crashes than any other driver on the grid, he´s as good as Magnussen
Add to that Audi have already decided to let Bottas & Zhou go.
I feel there's a lack of inherently in this clip
FIA should allow couple of more teams
FIA did, at least one, but it's the FOM that's holding things up.
Be serious a lot off tracks aren t prepared for more teams
The FIA alteady did.
Formula One Management has not.
@@Karincl7 This is not true at all. There were 11 teams as recently as 2016. A lot of the tracks also host the WEC which have way more cars in the field. F1 could easily have an 11th and probably even a 12th team.
Merc built a car around him over the winter. Before testing he jumps ship. I would have sacked him right there. He doesn't give a crap about the team that made him the multiple world champion.
Damn… how cool would it be to see yuki take Lewis’s old spot at Mercedes. He would honestly be such a great number 2 to George since he’s consistent, fast, and knows how to drive a piece of shit well. Yuki could learn a lot from being at a works team like merc also.
would absolutely love to see Albon and Hulkenberg in Audis
In the states we have an NFL ruleset surrounding “tampering” with players and coaches under contract. Moves only happen during the off-season, which prevents these lame-duck seasons where it feels like a lot of teams/drivers have their heads into the next not current season
i just dearly hope that honda pull some strings and get yuki in aston fro 2026. it would be very embarrassing for Honda, especially in Japan, where their star youth prospect is off the grid whereas someone IMO is worse than Yuki is in that seat with a Honda in the back. I think Yuki will stay in RB for one year potentially, as all his moves will be backwards otherwise. Lawson is going to be in RB, considering his regular appearances at races and that contract deal. Ricciardo is more likely to leave RB than Yuki.
I have to say, this new approach where you don't dump 💩 at Perez 24/7, is quite refreshing! even if you dont even mentioned Him.😅
If Carlos doesn’t end up at Audi I will be thoroughly shocked.
Alex to Merc
Mick and Kimi to Williams
This was my EXACT thought
Well, Alex just extended his contract with Williams.
Can we just hold like a fan vote to get rid of Stroll? He’s not good enough for that seat. Literally anyone else basically would be an upgrade
I'm thinking Albon goes to Merc, with Mick & Antonelli going to Williams
two (more or less) rookies is quite a risk - I dont think they will do that
but nevertheless, Albon already signed new contract
You say Carlos is going to be on the grid 2025, that’s jumping the gun.
