Playing it isnt much better.. I'm playing it, and I havent REALLY understood what has been going on? All I know is I'm scared, and I can pee and make cool digital mario mushrooms.. the "kojima effect" is really strong in Death Stranding..
Nick C I’ve finished the game and have ready every bit of lore and I still barely understand it. Is it too intelligent for me? Is it an awful and convoluted story with not real lore? I don’t know. But I enjoy it.

Yeah, something like that. In fact, if you cut their umbilical cord instead of shooting them, they give you a "like" before disappearing, so they appreciate you letting them go.
As for recently killed people, they do in fact turn into BTs. There's this thing I've heard about with the Elder (one of the preppers you send deliveries to), where if he doesn't get constant deliveries, he can die. If he does die, you see a BT in his place.

I understand why this video was made but if you have little to any knowledge of the Death Stranding game, it’s super clear why everyone would die.
It's the walking dead besides the fact all zombies are ghosts, everyone explodes upon turning and it turned the Midwest into pretty much mars with grass

look up Sunk Cost, its what kojima did to make people say this is a "good" game, literally why he also marketed the game with his name on it as his magnus opus, even though hes said many times before he would never do that.

@@112523 you're not thinking. This is humanity. We aren't stupid. You could use a combination of BBs and drones loaded with repatriate blood covered sniper shells. Explosive mines that are filled with shrapnel covered in repatriated feces. There's dozens of methods to exterminate BTs that don't involve you risking death. As long as you don't make more and immediately cremate all dead eventually you WOULD run out of BTs, even if it took a century or so.
ETs be like, "Well this planet is toast. Bring in the Death Star."
I love the lore to this game. Its so much different and complex than any other. And I'm a huge fan of apocalypse games: Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of us, for example. This concept is beyond awesome and whoever came up with it has some REAL brain power.

boom 350 I hope they have enough D class to try and harvest chiral crystals. Besides, you can’t “hold” a high level DOOMs person. All you need to do is teleport to the beach, summon timefall and ruin the building, or just summon the BT supper max and other BTs and just wreck havoc across the country. You can’t hold a EE the extinxtion will happen. You can’t hold a BT as they only spawn in timefall. So this foundation can do nothing.

I’ve played death stranding. It’s the first game I’ve completed in years. It’s beautiful! The music, design, characters, it’s all so beautiful. With that being said, I would absolutely not survive if this were real. Maybe I’d be a Porter? I would try finding as many loopholes as I could in the beginning. Then time would pass and I’d eventually go to those far places. I would be known as the Porter who always goes into a fight screaming. Why? I have a irrational fear of encountering unknown creatures. So in my mind I’m thinking if I scream it would draw the creature away. But with those floaty things it would draw them in I’d die a few times and then after finally defeating it. I would show up at the customers house with there package with goo all over it.

This video actually helped cleared up some lore and time skips, such as the fact that Sam was the baby in the beginning and he technically caused the voidout that started it all. Also correct me if I'm wrong but Repatriate is said "re-pat-tree-it" not "re-pay-tree-it".
