Your channel came in my recommended - v surprised you dont have more subs (but then i dont know how long youve been doing youtube) just because I think your content is so good. Good quality, useful advice and you seem so genuine and lovely. I honestly think youll be on 10K before you know it if you keep going. Nice work keep at it
Hi! I have followed Rachel Southard’s journey since she started medical school and I’m now invested to follow your journey too! :) Great vlog by the way! Happy that I found your channel😊
I think i'll probably do a whole video on this! I think my main tip is to avoid waffle and cliches where possible and to make sure you carefully reflect on anything you learnt and skills you developed from any work experience (healthcare related or not!) x
Hii I was just wondering if u were right handed or left handed? I’m asking bc it’s my dream to go into the med field but I’m left handed & apparently lefties are not as smart so if I see someone in the med field who is also a leftie it would make me feel SO much better abt myself!! Thank u! ☺️💖❤️✨💕
I use Goodnotes 5 and I love it! My biggest tip is to be tactical with which med schools you apply to. Spend time researching the exact entry requirements to different unis and find the ones that you tick the most boxes for x
Your name reminds me of this character in Teen Wolf hehe btw I loved your video! I hope I'll be as organised as you are when I get into Med School. Thank you for your vlogs, you're so pretty too💕
Love the video Lydia! Im also in my first year of medicine (as an undergrad) and have just posted a similar video over on my channel! Hope you have a fab Christmas x
I wanted to do medicine after A levels but I didnt get the grades so grad med was my next choice! Honestly so far im really enjoying it and have no regrets :)
Love these vlogs :) week in my life's are the best! So interesting to follow your journey, it just came up in my recommendeds too! Out of interest, what does your boyfriend do now, is he also studying? Just interested as you said you were unsure what to do after graduating biology before teaching!
Awww thank you so much - so glad you're enjoying! So Jack (who also studied Biology with me) did a masters after finishing uni, which he finished in September and he is now working as a civil servant :-) x
@@LydiaMartinMedic that's awesome! Congratulations to you both, you're doing great things! btw it's also so nice seeing Southampton city in your vlogs, I went there last year when I lived in the UK (I'm from Aus) and it's nice to reminisce 😊
They don’t reveal the exact score because it changes every year depending on everyone’s applications. I’d say to aim for 2800+. I got an interview with 2750 but they let in Southampton alumni with lower scores. Hope that helps!
I cant wait to go to med school! Im planning on going in the UK. I loved this video
Thank you! Good Luck for when you apply
