Looking forward to the long-term review. I own a Vertix and this is the first time I've thought about upgrading.

I shot the Lift, RVX 34, Ethos, and Revex (just to test it against the RVX lol) just playing around at the dealer a few weeks ago (all at 28.5/70). I honestly did not like the draw & grip on the Lift, it felt like it stacked hard up front and dumped a little much for me into the wall. Not sure if it was an anomaly or due to my draw length, but it didnt feel right. The grip didnt fit my hand well, couldnt get comfortable with it. It did hold really well on target and post shot was really nice
    .
Im an Elite guy.....or at least I was....The Ethos felt like the EnVision to me, but was much more polished. It's what the EnVision should have been. Good draw, good grip, post shot was as good as the Lift. Didnt wow me solid bow though.
The Revex was next so I could do a old/new comparison (I had never shot a Prime either so I was curious). I felt no difference between it and the RVX.....maybe a tad more vibration (barley noticeable on either). The IMS/PIC stuff doesnt make a difference to me. All I can say is....what an incredible feeling bow. Buttery smooth draw, no dump that I could complain about, post shot it just sits in your hand, and quiet. the grip feels like a SLIGHTLY thicker Elite grip to me, which I like. Not PSE thick by any means, easily repeatable grip, and comfy.
I came from an Omnia at 65lbs (tried 60, no real difference in draw feel), really like it but the draw was a bit much for me. My shoulder didnt like it, and my forearm would literally sting from wrist to where the tendon was reattached.
I went home with a Revex 4....I lose a little on speed....but my shoulder and forearm appreciate the draw cycle (L bicep tendon tear....bad R shoulder). It is a pleasure to shoot and the more I shoot it, the more I like it.

I recently acquired a v3x 33. Other than probably needing a shorter version is the lift enough of an upgrade to justify trying to get rid of the v3x?

That’s hard for me to say. Should be slightly faster, but I’m not I’m not sure it shoots any better than the VX3. I really liked that bow.

@@ArcheryTalkVideo thank you for the honesty. I’m just getting back into archery hunting again after sitting out for many years due to my hunting grounds getting sold.

I wish somebody would test the lift at 80 pounds and 28 inches

I’d try it, but would likely require surgery after.

      Or 80# @ 31 inches… 🤷🏼‍♂️ 😉

In the video you said a 29.5” mods but you said it measured at 27.75”? Did you not add the 1.75” for AMO draw?

I think he meant 29 3/4. Which makes sense. Mathews always runs 1/4 to 1/2 inch long

@@MostlyPeacefulCombatVetThis is correct. Didn’t realize I misspoke. This is what happens when I record after my bedtime.

25 cent Chinese bearings on VXR. Probably still in the new ones. $1400 bow with 25 cent bearings and then blamed it on the bow shops over tighten the axle screws. Never buy another Mathews.

If you don’t mind, I’d like to know your source of information on the bearings please

The bearings on my VXR failed within 6 months of purchase. I researched the bearing and found a Japanese replacement. Removed and replaced myself. After I discussed the issue without my bow supplier. He had actually visited the factory and told me they had years supply of these bearings and they were from China. This failure is common knowledge and easily researched online.

Not good they use them but I bet everyone else uses something from China too
