Just offered this as advice to my youngest son , he seems to be stuck in a place I once was and god in heaven knows I dont want him to make the same mistakes I did or lose something he can never replace or find again innhis lifetime , God found it to grant me another chance and put me in the same situation he did 20 years ago and I promise you as I sit here with her beside me " I DAMN SURE DIDNT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE" No need to ask me how I know , I spent an entire lifetime learning from that mistake and when I was granted the opportunity to make the same choice or not , I put my foolish pride in its place and made the right decision for once and hoping I can stop him from making a decision that will effect him for the rest of his life , he is only 21 , same age I was and I will be 50 in August god willing I make it till then , And am so grateful for the opportunity granted to me just 2 short years ago and as anything in life with age comes wisdom , some learned easy , some like me , the absolute hard way , Thank God for age , wisdom , and most importantly , second chances in life to do something or live something right .
