      Hello . It is interesting your device. I have a question.it is know that when faceting it is need some angles (35 gradus) in some cases for facetting the crown .how do you measure it with this device? Thanks for answering.

      @@josejoshuam2007 To measure the cutting angle, I used a school plastic protractor, it is not super precise, but it gives satisfactory results

    how did you make the flat part on the top? It should be perpendicular to the disk right?

      I made the table freehand. With a little practice, a very good result can be achieved. But sometimes I also used a 45° adapter...

      With the help of holes on the aluminum plate it is possible to combine 64 index. In this group on FB you can see I posted the design for the aluminum plate and the index scheme 19.08.2021. ... facebook.com/groups/handpiecefaceting

      on eBay, look under DOP WAX for sale, GREEN, RED, BLACK DOP WAX for doping stones LAPIDARY. I use red which is also a sealing wax in my country... Study which one you want to buy because it differs in color and at what temperature they melt. Thanks for watching , best regards .

    I measure with this geometric system will help me, is the video part the material needed?

    • @Liburni
      @Liburni  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not understand your question, please clarify. All materials for construction can be seen in the video, aluminum tube, outer profile 10mm, inner 6mm, dopstick 6mm, aluminum piece 14mm thick. The plate sheet is aluminum 3mm thick, it can also be plywood...Of course, everyone can use their material of different dimensions and still achieve the same effect. I had this material left over in the workshop and I used it for an experiment...Thanks for following my work

      Buy a small school plastic protractor and then use it to measure the angle you need and adjust the height of the base accordingly. You can see how it works on the my video "Homemade faceting machine 7. Experimental handpiece 3" time 13:46, thanks for watching

    Faceting machines are grossly overpriced.

    • @Liburni
      @Liburni  ปีที่แล้ว

      For a beginner amateur, it is very expensive, it requires a lot of investment. For those who work professionally, it is a money-making machine.
