Let me tell u. I fixed my son’s car with this easy fix. So proud of my self. My husband bought a new battery and it didn’t work so I watch one you tube video. And u saved the day. Thank u😊
Ohhhh my God!! You are a life saver!! I replaced my battery and was making arrangements to have my car towed to the dealership and stressing out already about the cost for that plus the forthcoming costs. My dad suggested to look here and together with my Dad on the phone we listened to you and I went out and followed all your steps. I could NOT believe there were extra fuses under the hood in that box near the battery!! What?!! I cranked it up and I said: Dad, can you hear that? We got lift off!! YESSSSS!! My Dad and I were hooting and hollering on the phone!! I love my Dad so much and don't know what I would do without him. He is 80 years old and STILL looks after me, his 'little girl' (haha). Sir, please keep doing videos to help all of us single women out here doing it on our own and other people just trying to get by. Any other helpful hints on videos you do will be a blessing!! God bless you Sir!!!
Thank you so much for this… I literally just took the car home from the dealership on Friday… It stalled on me when I got home and I thought nothing of it… I took it out to get all my stuff in it this morning and I couldn’t even pull it back in the garage because it was just stalling. Replace the fuse like you said on the video and it started. I am taking it back to the dealership to make sure that was the only issue. Thank you again.
God bless you!! We struggled with this all week and we were just about to have it towed to our Subaru dealership when I stumbled upon your video. It worked immediately. Thank you so much.
Thank you ever so much. After listening to you and another video, you saved me $$$$ and Fear...worry etc.. as my Subaru did the same thing only I was in a far away place and a tow truck would have been way tooo expensive. While it was very difficult to remove the 7.5 fuse A friend finally did. We found the extra one in the engine fuse box. He tried to install that but it jumped out of his fingers and was lost. After a trip into town he found an open parts store and bought two more. Also we did not have a fuse puller. The day before I purchased a kit and just in case a pair of bent needle nose pliers. The supplied fuse puller was not a good fit for the interior box. Once installed I put on the battery jumper and the car started right up and ran like a champion. Thank You so much for sharing your find!
Yep, Good stuff mate, it was the problem we had and your video helped to get our car on the road - Awesome probably saved us heaps of cash. Thanks so much
Do you think you so much that was freaking amazing video and it’s exactly what it happened and I replaced a fuse just like you said in the car started right up great video appreciate it
Two weeks! Really! I don’t know where you’re posting from, but here in the USA/Canada, there is an customer service # that will walk you through the problem. They also sell parts bypassing the dealership. It only took two hours of frustration when I began looking for a dealership customer service number and I came across Subaru national customer service number.
@@comeandsee7336 I worked on jumping the battery yesterday for about an hour with no difference. Came across your video at 7 am this morning. I looked for the extra fuse (I couldn't find them) by 7:30 the store was open, got the fuses went back put the fuse in and the car started right up. Cost me some time and $9 for 10 fuses. If it wasn't for your video...it would have been a battery, tow, service charges and who knows what else. My mother in law and I thank you again for saving us a lot more time and money!!!🤗 I hope a lot of people see your video before they do what I was just about to do.
Car would not start, tried charging no good. Finally, before calling tow company to go to dealer, took battery to battery and alternator shop. Took 10 seconds to diagnose bad battery. Got new battery $105 put it in and my 2015 Forester started right up. Up to this point, for months my radio didn't work. I read somewhere that when you put a new battery in, put the positive cable on first. So I did. And, now the radio works.
Well it didn't work for my car it's a 2010 Forester I just put a new battery in 2 months ago but it's been like below 20° the past couple days tried to jump start it wouldn't work replace the fuse it's still going to start😢
What happen if the Subaru Forester 2010 can’t start in the parking. Because I have a Subaru Forester 2010 he can’t start on the parking. When I put it on neutral is start. In the parking he can’t Tell me what I can do to resolve the issue please
Why are people not demanding subaru make changes we shouldnt need to worry about cars not starting. Its bullsh*t. My moms car is dead. She is a basketcase makes crisis out of a pin dropping. I gotta get jumper cables to try to jump start it. I never did a jump before so her screami ing about it is messin up my focus. Someone gave me their extra jumper cables but there is some corrosion on one of the clamps so i dont know if i need to go buy new ones. Shes had me do8ng everything for her so she hasnt driven it its been dead for months most likely now on memorial weekend she wants this jumped.

@@christina260 I am glad to hear so. Let’s pass on the help by helping others. Please share my video with family and friends
for this reason i have a12 volt led circuit tester probe and Elm327 bluetooth eobd tester in the car 😇
Good to know Thanks 👍
So do you think you could have kept the first battery? I replaced mine too! $160 later :((

What does a bad fuse look like?
Same issue however fuse was all good. Once scan tool run it cleared a battery malfunction code and started.
Brilliant
You have a whole rail of spare fuses just to the right of your fuse panel

Awesome 😎
I've fixed a lot of things on my car but for some reason I constantly forget to check the fuses.
Ignition fuse is blown. ECU needs ignition power + battery power.
When you say it would not start did you hear a clicking sound or did the dash lights flicker or anything happen?
No, hear nothing
Yo!! Thank u so much😊
You are very welcome!! Did you have the same problem?😀
@@michaelnashed9935 Yes, I changed my battery earlier but car won’t start.
@@nokicacao7148 I am glad that my video help you . Did you change the fuse After the battery? Was the fuse the reason for the car not to start?
