I’m 25 now and when I was 17 I was diagnosed with PCOS , I tried losing weight like they suggested but never got any support from my doctor, all she said to me was, I would never be able to have children and since then I’ve been so depressed. I was diagnosed at 19 and she told me I would never be able to have kids and she said lose weight you’re obese (I’m not I’m chubby in certain areas do to pcos) I’ve always been depressed since then but there’s a few things that did help me lose a few kg
@@Habibatmamaha921st and most important thing in this journey is mental health. The more you get depressed that much more it will mess hormones up. I have pcos too with 2 kids. Both conceived without any medication except metformin. 2nd step is avoiding all the processed foods. It doesn't matter you are obese or underweight. Avoiding processed foods including chickens, and dairy products helps a lot. 3rd castor oil pack. And when you use castor pack always keep in mind that its just to clean uterus and not to conceive. Because if you think too much about conceiving it will affect hormones and then all the efforts will be affected.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in march 2022 after TTC and going off of BC in July 2021. I was referred to a fertility specialist but never went bc I got pregnant in May 2022. Never got my period since going off birth and my doctor told me might be that I was still ovulating with no period. Thanks for educating and encouraging so many of us. I was diagnosed with Lean PCOS, but I am not sure any longer whether this is accurate. I have the classic pearl string image on both ovaries, have irregular periods (anything from 29 to 59 days cycles), irregular ovulation (based on zero progesterone level tested on day 21), on day 3 my FSH is 15, my LH is 8 (ratio 2:1), my largest follicles are below 8mm on days 10,12,14,16. Testosterone level is below 0.07, and all other male hormones on the low range. BMI is 21/22, clothes size 8/10 without much fluctuation. Battling fatigue despite (almost) zero sugar diet, yoga, low impact exercises etc. In my teens I was an athlete and later ran marathons so exercise did play a bigger role than in the last two years. Will turn 36 years next week. Have not used any contraceptive methods since 8 years. Which direction should I be thinking? Anything else that is striking apart the low ovarian reserve? Does this sound like lean PCOS? No hirsutism, acne or any of the other symptoms except polycystic and anovulation. What would you recommend? Donor eggs or surrogacy is not an option for me. I really appreciate a response.

My life have not been the same since the depo shot. My cycles was messed up from there. A year after being on depo I got tested because I didn’t have a cycle. I was then told I had pcos. I went to a second doctor for another opinion and was told I didn’t have pcos. And that I can take the birth control pill to regulate my cycle. I was on birth control for 10 years this year. I told my doctor I’m done with taking the birth control. She told me that I should see my cycle in 6 months. However I did not have a cycle. I did go back to the doctor a few days ago I did an ultrasound and they drawn five tubes of blood. I found out this morning that in fact I do have pcos. And that I have to take progesterone in order for my cycle to appear. 😢

And last year April 2021, I got my bloodworks and found that I have hyperprolactinemia and hypothyroidism. I was able to manage it by taking Parlodel (which is very expensive) and Levothyroxine. I was diagnosed with Lean PCOS, but I am not sure any longer whether this is accurate.
I have the classic pearl string image on both ovaries, have irregular periods (anything from 29 to 59 days cycles), irregular ovulation (based on zero progesterone level tested on day 21), on day 3 my FSH is 15, my LH is 8 (ratio 2:1), my largest follicles are below 8mm on days 10,12,14,16. Testosterone level is below 0.07, and all other male hormones on the low range. BMI is 21/22, clothes size 8/10 without much fluctuation. Battling fatigue despite (almost) zero sugar diet, yoga, low impact exercises etc. In my teens I was an athlete and later ran marathons so exercise did play a bigger role than in the last two years. Will turn 36 years next week. Have not used any contraceptive methods since 8 years. Which direction should I be thinking? Anything else that is striking apart the low ovarian reserve? Does this sound like lean PCOS? No hirsutism, acne or any of the other symptoms except polycystic and anovulation.
What would you recommend?
Donor eggs or surrogacy is not an option for me.

My life have not been the same since the depo shot. My cycles was messed up from there. A year after being on depo I got tested because I didn’t have a cycle. I was then told I had pcos. I went to a second doctor for another opinion and was told I didn’t have pcos. And that I can take the birth control pill to regulate my cycle. I was on birth control for 10 years this year. I told my doctor I’m done with taking the birth control. She told me that I should see my cycle in 6 months. However I did not have a cycle. I did go back to the doctor a few days ago I did an ultrasound and they drawn five tubes of blood. I found out this morning that in fact I do have pcos. And that I have to take progesterone in order for my cycle to appear. 😢

I have had PCOS as long as I can remember, and it has wreaked havoc on my body. Before conceiving my first, I had over a dozen miscarriages, and had to take progesterone to stabilize both my pregnancies that went to term. But my first i had pre-eclampsia and had to be induced,then had gestational diabetes with my second and had to delivery via C-section with my second. But I've done nothing but miscarry and had chemical pregnancies since. I have had ovarian laproscopy, clomid, letrozole, taken a multitude of meds to help with hormones and thyroid, checked for Cushings and Hydroxyprogesterone deficiency and have extremely painful cysts bursting. My husband's fertility is fine. But now.... I've been TTC 3.5 years and I cannot get pregnant. My periods are light and irregular and I am losing hope. What else can I do!? I swear I've tried everything...and I cannot afford Ivf, iui, or icsi...:'(

My periods are regular, my scan shows possible pcos, cos they ain't sure. They saw 9 follicles which were hard to detect. My blood sugar levels are normal, cholesterol normal. I have insulin resistance PCPS type. Second Infertility. They did vaginal ultrasound and I have many eggs BUT had many cysts. I do my level testing for ovulation and at times I do ovulate. But does that mean if I ovulated the eggs won’t be released. They told me I have 6.5 level of AMH. So I’m not sure what exactly is wrong

Iam 26 year old. 5 year ago diagnosed as both overies are policystic morphology (follicles average size 3 to 5mm), after the two scanning detected no significant abnormalities.
I had it checked 1 week ago and diagnosed:
1. policystic morphology (left overy)
2. AMH - 0.96 ng/ml
3. Haemoglobin - 10.8 gm/dl (anemia)
4. Prolactin is normal (12.92 ng/ml)
5. TSH is normal (1.245)

Well I am watching this video after 2 years it has been posted and maybe I am too late and asking a question but my question is that I get regular periods every single month on the exact dates my cycles are very much regular but I do have the other symptoms of pcos and I had been diagnosed with pcos 5 years ago and with medication I was able to regulate my cycles but I am having excess facial hair growth and other pcos symptoms my main question is I will be getting married 2 years from now and we will be trying for a kid after a year of marriage will I be able to conceive because my cycles have been normal for a very long time.

And last year April 2021, I got my bloodworks and found that I have hyperprolactinemia and hypothyroidism. I was able to manage it by taking Parlodel (which is very expensive) and Levothyroxine. After taking it for 3mos everything came back to normal. And I wanna ask if is there any chance that it come back aftrer treating it? Or how will I be able to maintain it in a normal range?
