This advice was worthless for me. It did not solve the problem following his instructions. Then he says try sending it through email. I don’t want to get the photos through email. I want to get them through texting as I have in the past but now my phone will not let me open the photos that show up. When people text me I want to text back not have to go to email to see the photos. Have to look elsewhere on TH-cam to find someone who really knows how to solve the problem so photos will start showing up again on the text messages not emails.
Funny, i updated my phone and now its doing this. It was working fine right before the update.
Ahh, my phone just updated a day or two ago and the problem only started a day or two ago 🤔
Photos I have texted to people that sent and appeared without any issues, now shows a box with a question mark. Why aren’t my photos in the texts still visible?
This is happening to all photos from all senders for weeks, using multiple different Wi-Fi networks… I do not believe this is an internet issue something else is wrong.

Same here, iPhone 14 pro max, I cant receive or send photos it just like the picture in the video. I tried messing with the messages app settings, restarting, and trying different WIFI's. No budge.

My husband and i have the same iphones and I can open anything in my messages and about 2 weeks ago his phone stopped letting him. Why?
This just started happening with this one person anytime they send me something its making me download it an it just appears in my gallery right after ...shes the only person that cant send me anything without that problem

It worked for me, but I had both party reboot there phones and airplane modes after on and off then Wi-Fi connected.

I tried both and it did not work. I rebooted my phone and it worked.
Same here rebooted worked for me as well. iPhone 10 and up press or tap volume up then volume down then hold on to the Power/home button until the Apple sign shows up

i had this issue and thought it was because my phone wasnt up to date (i have iphone 13 max pro). after updating, i received photos and could send photos like before, but after a few days the issue occurred again. ive tried pretty much everything, please help 😭

I cleared my storage a bit and then restarted my phone. It worked

I have the complete opposite problem if anybody could help. I have one contact where all I can get is pictures, GIFs, texts attached to pictures but I don't see the plain text that she is sending. They are on an iPhone and I'm on Android.

I get my pictures as files .. never as a picture
1- Airplane mode;
2- check the quality of your internet to make downloads;
3- make speed test;
4-test photos with airdrop
Make sure you have a connection, if you do, I don't know what the problem is, email the photo. Really.
