Yards look great! I have the same hand held broadcast spreader and I've found that if you rotate the handle backwards, you can run it along the edge better without flinging product to the right into the lawn. Works great for overseeding and granular applications.

Can I put this down before I put grass down? To try and keep all the weeks down, I come home from 3 weeks at work and spent at least 6 hours pulling weeds. I'm still a while away from getting grass just sick of the weeds haha
I used that moss killer Manutec on my lawn and she gone black. It's says it does than comes back a darker green but it looks mega dark green. Like 10 shades different to the rest of my lawn lol.

Last season i spot sprayed with roundup which left holes in the lawn, i filled them in with dirt but the lawn still hasn't taken back over. I'll have to give it another shot with dirt and 100% kikuyu seed. Is there a better way to deal with rye already in the lawn? (I bought a pre-emergent last summer but forgot to spray it in autumn!) cheers

So, which pre-emergent would you recommend for RTF - rhizomatous tall fescue here in the ACT? Your weather looks the same as ours too.

I love how the Americans call it crabgrass 😂 we Aussies just call it how we see it...grassy weed pops in summer therefore it's summer grass, grassy weed pops up in winter then it's winter grass 😂

Nothing wrong with a bit of poa, the course I worked at had about 80% poa greens and they were lovely!

Vince B go to Bunnings and get Hortico weed killer for buffalo lawns does a few types of grass without killing it. But always read label.

I'd highly recommend a herbicide like Bow and Arrow. I've always found weed and feeds don't work well.
