Our hope is guyton can someday be as good as Tyron was last season. Highly unlikely but you never know…
Beebe is likely not an upgrade over tyler biadz either.
A lot of teams passed of Beebe for a reason. He struggled against top competition.
Word on the street is he practiced at center and is already working with duke... he is going to be a stud for us and just think about Martin, smith and beebe pushing forward on run plays!

Anyways, I think beebe is an immediate upgrade over Biadasz. I also believe he beats hoffman for starting Center.
What are your guys' thoughts on Steele? I feel like hes becoming a liability?? i could be wrong maybe it had to do with it being his 1st year back from the ACL injury but he had some bad holding penalties that cost us and plenty times where he was flat out beat. Jalen carter made him look like a fool

Our starting RB currently is a dude named Rico dowdle and his backup is a scrub who’s 5’5 and slow as all hell in Vaughn.
Yet, we take a player who isn’t very good above someone like Jaylon wright. Everyone zigs while Jerry zags. 29 years and counting…

I am so interested in what Beebe will look like at Center. I don’t see him as some Uber athletic pin and pull guard, but man he can dominate nose guards in pass pro and move people in the run game.

Jimmy Johnson is "supposedly" on the advisory board for the Cowboys. His Cowboys teams had a strong core on the offensive and defensive lines.
Unfortunately, his time was 30 plus years ago.
If he did have a say in players we draft, don’t you think the head coach of emmitt smith back in the day wouldn’t be ok with Rick dowdle and deuce vaugn as your top 2 RBs?

LOL that pulling play reminded me of HS football, I played DE and man it hurt taking on big pulling guards on sweeps/options. I cant imagine taking on a haus like this dude. Dallas already announced they are moving him to center.

Our center was pushed around too much last season when you see this guy he is justbpure physical big and nasty which I love in football players you get a sense of Larry Allen when watching his tape

I like this draft of 2024 they picked the future of Offensive lineman for the Cowboys. The Cowboys did address the need for the offense and protect Dak.
I can see Deuce staying behind him until he open up that hole for him and Deuce takes off. Just as they were in College together.😂

This dude on C with Smith and Martin? Most D linemen are gonna get smashed by that trio that’s just scary as hell. Smith is almost unbeatable in the phone booth and Martin despite his age is still a beast, so excited to see this O line.

The Cowboys haven't had a true enforcer at OC since Frederick. Now, they have one. He will make all the difference in the run game.
I can't remember the last true guard Dallas took in the draft. Was it Zack Martin? Recently, they've been converting tackles into guards.

Cooper beebe will be playing center from where I see so now we have a good o line that is also young we have a 22 year old LT a 27 year old RT a now most likely 23 year old C a 23 year old LG and our only 30+ year old on the line is 33 year old Zack Martin
Beebe would be an All Pro FB but head up on the line in the NFL will get ugly.
Backup Center on a good team.

Beebe got worked by Murphy on that play. Beebe gettjng beat is why the back couldn’t gain any yards.
I’m reading Beebe struggles when going against top competition. Not good when our division is among the best at DT in the nfl.
Glad we got Beebe, but let’s not act like we got the best interior lineman or one of the top OL in the entire draft. Dozens of OL went ahead of him for a reason.
Also, Beebe is your top rated G in the draft and JPJ was the best C. We needed a C. Why not take the better player at the position of need, because I agree, JPJ is superior to Beebe.
Hope he lets the defense through to snap Dink-A-Dunk-Dak into peices.

@@InterstateStunnaWhat I mean is Smith Left tackle, Beebe left guard, Hoffman at center, Martin right guard, Guyton at his natural position of right tackle. Then steel becomes the swing tackle. Everybody just assumes going right to left is so easy but most people can't. It's because it's completely backwards. And if we're going to start him I want him to not have to relearn the entire position.
