- I know when booking this cruise I was trying to get as much info as possible so here is a brief tour of our room on board the MSC Seascape and the lounge/pool area for MSC Yacht Club members.
It was our first time in Yacht Club and cruising in general, but we were so impressed with everything. It was an absolutely incredible trip and I'll be happy to answer any questions I can in the comments below!
We love da Yacht Club
Same, can't ever do it differently now haha
We have 14 days coming up on Seascape in the Yacht Club and your video was a great reminder of what we have in store for us. Thanks so much!
That's why I posted, so glad to help!
I just booked a 14 night voyage. It's two (2) seven day back to back cruises. I priced the actual 14 night one and it was about $4000 more than booking them separately. Everything was the same, except you received $400 On Board Credit when you book it separately.
Thanks for the video. My husband and I are sailing on Seascape in the Yacht club (first for us) in March. Soooo looking forward to it. I sailed on MSC Divina early this year, not Yacht Club and my husband used to work on cruise ships in the dining rooms, so now he'll get to sail in style. I watched your embarkation video also. Helps to know the process. Thx again!!
I'm glad it was helpful! I know how much I looked for videos like this leading up to our trip. You're going to have a great time it was a real taste of luxury we don't get to experience normally!
So did the bottle of gin come with the room instead of champagne or was it something you brought?
You usually get a survey before hand that asks what kind of bottle you want. You can choose wine/champagne if you want. I chose gin, but we never actually opened the bottle the whole trip so it came home with us haha
Didn’t get which room category it is, with balcony?
It was the Deluxe Suite.
Any shade?
There are awnings all over, but you can't really have shade umbrellas because they can blow away into the ocean with a good gust.
There is shade depending on several factors: sun angle, the direction the ship is pointed, time of day, etc. But there's always somewhere to grab a shady spot if you need it. In the summer though, it does get hot up there on port days in the Caribbean because the ship is stationary, and the pool deck gets too hot for bare feet. So be sure to pack some water shoes, crocks, what have you - especially for the kids.
