It's a much simpler lifestyle compared to Western BUT with a more village type theme where people help each other alot more..and are alot more socially connected to each other in a nice way.

Adam -I hope you have good medical insurance because hospital and treatment in the Philippines can be very expensive - a broken leg and three operations cost me over 1M pesos hospital PLUS a stack more for follow up and medications.

It varies but was 160 PHP per KG. You can find it for 140 PHP KG if you are willing to barter 😊
