really enjoyed this, as a lower level AllStar ranked player, hearing your thoughts and seeing the gameplay is incredibly helpful, and insightful hope to see more of these longer vids

I love this man, watched the whole thing, love that you don't talk shit about your opponent. Def subbed

Really good first video like this! Some thoughts:
-Checking the difficulty first thing is good; knowing that helps give us context for swing decisions.
-Your webcam being where it is blocks some information I wanted to see, specifically stats of batters during ABs and your player stats before the game (which you did hide your cam for some of, thanks!). It's probably better for this game to have your camera on the opposite side from where it was, and possible make it slightly smaller (far left, middle height). I don't think there's any relevant game info a left-side camera blocks as long as you're above the Swing/Pitch Feedback.
-Facing guys like John Don and Randy, I'd want to know where you're looking to try and read those pitches ASAP in the moment, especially with those two since they're generally accepted as the best two SPs in the game.
-As an Xbox player, I keep seeing your PS Controller profile change for pitching & hitting and I'm not sure what your changes are/what the purpose is. I'd be curious to know those things.
-I know this team was built in order to showcase the Stanton captain, but the specifics about *why* the lineup was ordered the way it was would be good to know.
-You seem to repeat yourself a lot when you're really trying to focus. I get that you're in the zone in those moments but it can be distracting, just something to keep in mind.
Looking forward to the next one.

You could’ve taken Blackmon out use Goldschmidt and then just switch bellinger to OF with Goldschmidt going to first lol even though it wound up working out with Blackmon…And this game is horrendous with check swings on top of line outs. The ratio of fluke late or early home runs/hits to balls hit over 100mph for outs is ludicrous and finally good for you for not just pretending this game never happened and re recording until you got something you liked.

This team is pretty close to what I run, but instead of Mussina, check out running the Texas boost with Nathan in the bullpen. It uses almost the same lineup that you have, but Story, Rendon, Carpenter, Blackmon, and a few others get the Texas boost which gives them the +25 Contact vs right they aren’t getting from the Mussina boost. Check it out! Also, Josh Bell 93 ovr with the Texas and Stanton boost is so NASTY.

Can you do this series with every captain card build? I want to see your full game lineup decisions with a juiced Richie Ashburn courtesy of the Phillies build!

Great video, i noticed you didnt warm up your releivers before putting them in. Is that a glitch where they come in already warm?

Enjoyed this fully. I wish more show players did this. This game made me feel better about how I approached playing on HOF. Even though I am much worse than you. I'm at least on the right track. This game felt like one of those weird games where you fully close out the game, clear the consoles cache, and shut it down fully lmao. Your opponent was good, but I think the game definitely favored him with those 50/50 balls with hits, strikes, check swings etc. Sure you had opportunities but when you DID execute the game would not reward you. Also, you did have a swap for Blackmon, move Cody into left and then move Santana to 1B. You lose Salvy but you needed the match up. I hope this becomes a regular series of videos. CBrev has all but retired from content making it seems so there's quite a void to be filled.
Only negative is that we had 2 games and not ONE SINGLE BACKFOOT SLIDER FOR THE BOYS...I HAVE BEEN BETRAYED

btw you are not getting the hitting boost from mike Musina, it only works for a handful of hitters like, Babe ruth, dennis ekersly (OOP) , bob gibson (oop)

Those strikes called a ball and the perfect perfect out said sds told you to go get bent. Be glad it wasn't a perfect perfect double play. I've gotten more of those then I'd like.

Ball physics don't exist in mlb the show. I think the game would play so much better in my opinion.
