I relate to Ryan’s Jack TTT sense
I specifically didn’t look at it when they looked for each other, and I just knew it was him
I knew it was Jack, because when Jack is a traitor he pretends to be paranoid, and be the least helpful he could be.
Christian NoName Jack was also the one to mention the Hydra Agents didn’t know each other. Jeremy went in to detail on how he woke up and heavily accused Matt who was the second most trusted person. I get that Lindsay’s a wildcard but I figured they would’ve suspected Jeremy and Jack a bit more.
@@jacobbrodeur2735 jack reminding about the hydras knowing each other was a big hint, I'm surprised they forgot about it, or maybe they thought it was an unfair hint (which it was) and decided to forget.
And yes Jack was suspicious, as he always is in these games. He's usually the worst at AH at pretending to be innocent when he is not.
Still despite the less than stellar acting, they did play extremely well, it also helped a LOT that the others were so quick to turn on each other
Jack was super easy to sus out. He didn't once talk about playing with barrels, ergo he's a villain.
Fiona accuses too early, Matt is always targeted by his colleagues, Ryan takes the lead ever time, Jeremy is Ryan's No 2. and usually agrees rarely disagrees, Jack tries too hard to blend, and Lindsay is pure chaos.
Being a clueless idiot doesnt mean chaos

Voting out someone you think is shield just due to them having a bad hand is terrible in the last rounds... they will play their least damaging bad cards instead of the hydra agent who will play their most damaging ones.
Early on it's fine, since the hydra will want to lay low.

@@ZackRToler To be fair, at least in my perception, most of the attacks on Matt were coming from Jeremy (my suspicion level on Jeremy was high most of the game). Jeremy "thwipping" cards away from Jack (who claimed all bad cards) and Ryan (who claimed mostly good cards) was a very Hyrda move to just play bad cards and prevent Ryan from playing good cards (for me confirmed Jeremy as Hydra). Jack's repeated attempts to peg others as Hydra seemed counter productive at best, but more likely a Hydra move (and combine that with his constant claim of bad cards to shift suspicion away). Lindsay always looks suspcious and Fiona looked more confused than suspicious (which didn't help Jack's attempts to accuse her of being Hydra). Ryan and Matt were doing a trust dance and both seemed clean.
To be fair, Ryan had a feeling Jack was Hydra.

Ryan trusted Matt for most of the game and only voted him because he didn't have any good cards, Ryan even threw out the option of voting himself out in the first round for the same reason and called out Jack early on and then Jeremy near the end. Only innocent person who was actually suspicious of Matt and kept accusing him was Fiona, who claimed to know it was jack because he was being accusative.
Like how are none of them questioning the fact that Jack and Jeremy have not accused each other once?Jack always rails into Jeremy when theire not same team

At the end they all went "I knew it was Jack because..." yet nobody voted him out of any of the missions. I have to imagine even having a shield agent with a bad hand (Matt) would be better than having a straight up hydra agent.

Yes, having a SHIELD agent with a bad hand is generally better than having a Hydra agent... Because SHIELD agent can put in the least negative card, while Hydra agents would put in more negative ones.
because a hydra agent puts out all the bad they can, while the shield puts down teeny bits of bad because they want to be much less bad than hydra
Ryan suspected jack but couldn't explain it with good reason and also called out Jeremy near the end, he heavily relied on Matt being able to hand him good cards to play while out because he trusted him. Only person who actually believed it was Matt was Fiona but one good person siding with the two hydra agents gives them the numbers advantage. I believe Ryan and Matt did the best they could as shield agents, except for missing some of Jeremy's suspicious moves and trying harder to break the bandwagon that was going on, but Lindsay was just there and Fiona was an outright liability. It was more of Matt and Ryan vs Jeremy, Jack and Fiona with Lindsay just there.
ryan's problem is that he gets yelled at for trusting his gut and targeting jack when the alarm bells go off, so he's hesitant to do it, even though to date he has never been wrong.
As someone who never heard of this board game before, Ryan sounds pretty damn smart throughout the entire game.
Jack, on the other hand.... His tell was so, so obvious. Clamming up and randomly accusing people without any basis so unlike Jack, unless he has something to hide. Good guy Jack would have been so verbose and share his thoughts on who he thinks the bad guy is, even if its wrong.
Jeremy was also very easy to tell, especially after Myatt came back, as he was pushing it very hard and, at least for me, that would lead to a vote easily.
Had this in a game of Secret Hitler. I was a liberal, but Hitler was saying I was Hitler the entire game and the other players believed them, despite them being the most obvious bad person I've ever seen while playing.
@@Slimmeyy I've been killed in secret Hitler by liberals after killing the one fascist. That's what make these games fun is people are stupid at picking up on important details and focus on small things that don't mean anything.
@@michaelthomas7999 Had another game where I had to be quiet because family was sleeping, and I happened to be Hitler. I said BEFORE I got my role card that I had to be quiet and they still used it against me.
Another game where one of the liberals were spinning their mouse during the fascist meeting bit at the start.
And another one where I won as a fascist without taking a single important action.

@@ryane5087 Yeah, but there was nothing forcing him to use his ability. If he was good, he wouldn't have used the ability when they are saying they only have bad cards
The forgot to remove two cards in the second attack of the kingpin. Given the chance to draw two good cards out he would of lived
@steveXracer the Lindsay comment is moot. She PLAYS in a trustworthy way (playing good cards)... she just doesn't BEHAVE in a trustworthy way.
You can't trust ANYONE based on their behaviour alone, since the hydra agents will act as they normally do to not attract attention. Whether her "normal" is to always be shifty or not doesn't change that... it would only matter if she's only shifty when bad.
The problem is, because she is shifty so often, they can't trust her at all, period. It's like playing with a known liar and they say trust me, would you believe them? Lindsay keeps screwing herself because of how she acts. Jeremy can be trusted more than Lindsay and he's a better liar, so that says just how bad Lindsay is.
@@AzureDemonicGod That doesn't follow. That just means that the other players are bad and illogical. If one player always seems untrustworthy and another always seems trustworthy independent of if they are lying believing the one who seems trustworthy is dumb. They are giving equal information. I am reminded of the three princess riddle where the one who always lies and the one who always tells the truth are considered equally good options for marriage.
At the end of the day, Lindsay screwed herself. If she stopped trying to act like the wildcard, she wouldn't be accused as much as she is. I agree that they shouldn't have voted her out, but she dug her grave. Also, Jeremy has made himself useful in other games like this, so they can never tell. If it was a "he's always lying" thing, that would be totally different, but it isn't. Lindsay is doing the same crap over and over again.
@steveXracer I feel the same. Like the last mission she should have really tried to convince then she was trustworthy. If you're on the good team at least act it. She makes them funny and I have no issues with her in the videos. She's funny and I enjoy her presecne. I just couldn't PLAY with her

Jack and Jeremy actually have very obvious tells. The thing is they’re tell is they’re helpful so you don’t want to accuse them. That’s why Ryan said his TTT sense was going off when Jack said he trusted him. If Jeremy is innocent he tries to take the leader role same as Ryan does. If he is bad he takes a back seat and constantly agrees with whoever has taken the leader role while trying to sway their opinion. If Jack is innocent he almost seems paranoid. He is reserved and doesn’t trust anybody. When he is bad he will throw his full support behind one person while accusing literally every other person.
Jeremy's playing as Spider-Man? Ryan as Iron Man? Matt as Daredevil? I gotta say, I'm liking this version of the AH MCU at the moment!

When it's Ryan and Jeremy as the liars in any game, it's over before it even started.
I have a love/hate relationship with knowing who the traitors are because he's tOO GOOD AND THEY FALL FOR IT EVERY TIME! The collapse at the end was almost satisfying, seeing them get clowned on for trusting the wrong people and Jack and Jeremy just cleaning up.

As much as I love these. I think it will be more chaotic if they do crossover let's play episodes with funhause. Like Ryan said they know each other so much they know who is lying instantly.

so the non comic fans won't care about this but Kingpin is not fat, it's just solid muscle, common misconception.
This game was absolutely fantastic, they should definitely play more of this! I was smiling the entire time Jeremy and Jack were so shifty

Ryan did a great job leading.
I decided to play along and not know who the hydra agents were and I wouldn't have done any better than they did. I really thought it was Lindsay after watching her be a "traitor" three rounds in a row during the Avalon lets roll. I did suspect Jack at least because he was being too quiet overall, and throwing out random accusations. Jeremy really had me. I couldn't pinpoint any reason to suspect him.
All of them saying "I knew it was you!" THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU VOTE FOR THEM?!

The only two people that were suspicious were Jeremy (messing over Ryan with his ability when he knew he had so few good cards which no one commented on) and Fiona (voting for Matt straight away) who wasn't even Hyrda...I just discount Lindsay acting suspiciously because well she's Lindsay.
Matt and Lindsey really screwed them there by being SHIELD agents and opting to not participate in the last fight. It basically guaranteed the 50/50 and in that scenario one bad would be better than the Hydra playing 2 or 3 bads. These games are always fun to watch them play though either way
Yeah but it's also possible that the Hydra agents have only good cards in their hands and would be forced to play those.

A revealed Hydra agent can exchange his play in favour of giving Red Skull an aditional armor.
So if a Hydra agent has only good cards he can give -1 to Red Skull

I can never bring myself to watch the board games with Lindsay in them, not because I necessarily dislike her but just because her refusal to actually play the game and/or cooperate with the people on her side render she the whole thing kind of pointless
It’s not that she’s unwilling. She seems just reluctant to let people on that she has no idea what is going on.
Lindsey is just setting up an unbeatable persona for when she is eventually an “evil” player

Man AH is awesome all of you guys and girls in and out of the office are great. I literally said "man I need some ah right now" and I scrolled through my recommended for like ten minutes.
This is more of an insult if anything.
they need to add a house rule to like skip turn and discard cards in a round or something because adding two cards just to even out for a shield is just a wast of a turn anyway and all it dose is help hides the hydras i'm sure thats why it there but hidden information can also help hydras draw suspicion to others and i feel like voting should could be a part of that so shield that are voted out can help a little if needed like at the end.
It really feels like they lost because they voted out two shield agents against the final boss, including one they had every reason to believe was good (Matt, of course, Lindsay was being a trolly fool per normal). It's been said by other people in the comments, but even a Shield agent with shit cards in the mission is better than a Hydra agent in the mission- A voted out Hydra's "Hail Hydra" ability is way weaker than one IN the mission, if I understood correctly.
Oh well, it's the first vid of this. I hope they do at least one more, with a clearer understanding of the game flow and strategy. This game has a lot of potential.
Not to mention instead of a giant -5 a shield agent could drop a standard -2

I really want to see them play Zombicide, it's one of my favourite games and it's literally sitting on a shelf behind Jeremy and Jack. It would just be utter chaos in their hands.

The clue Jeremy was Hydra:
In this game, when you are as good as Jeremy is at intrigue games, you don't "forget" to use an ability... and if you did honestly forget, you don't immediately announce it the moment it is too late.
If it was their second or third run through maybe. They all forgot pretty obvious rules and abilities a fair bit. Matt just straight up decides "nah, doesn't seem useful right now".

while he cant see the tv, he can feel the flat screen and imagine..... also doesn't his power give him the ability to see with sound?

I don't think his ability works with projected images.
It's basically sonar so the sound will only return an image off a reflective surface.
Superhero fans: having a cool discussion about how sonar hearing would affect watching TV while blind.
Me: Netflix (and probably other platforms) has audio description for a bunch of their titles. Normal blind people can watch TV, too...

I love the comparison between Matt and Jack, everyone has a feeling that it is Jack that has never been wrong but dont want to accuse him and Matt everyone automatically accuses him no matter how much good he does.
Man it was so obvious it was Jack and Jeremy because Jack accused everybody but Jeremy at least twice and Jeremy who'd normally catch the bullshit didn't even bat an eye at it and they both called out the same 2 people a round after each other(Matt and Fiona) even though Ryan confirmed that Matt wasn't doing anything bad or lying.
This is like watching their TTT personalities in real life! They all act the same way that I was immediately suspicious of Jack and Jeremy (I didn’t look when they revealed hydra to make it interesting.)

I think this game's balance is screwy, and it tries to plug the holes with a bunch of weird rules of what you're allowed to say. I've played twice and never seen Shield win.
I played the Battlestar Galactica game recently, which I feel like this is inspired by. I was too bored to really know if the good guys were winning or not. Calling yourself out as a Cylon also seemed to be OP.
@@Slimmeyy At least Battlestar Galactica gives you enough busywork to camouflage the whole process to make you feel like you're doing something. This is just Resistance with more complicated missions. I think Dead of Winter does the idea much better.
@@slothfulcobra Enough busywork? Of the 2.5 hours that game lasted, I contributed something for maybe 10 minutes. The rest I spent doing something else waiting for everyone to get their crap together.

DrDarkheart if you have ever watched achievement hunter in your life before, you should know that they don’t play to win. They play to entertain, which is what Lindsay is doing with her chaos, because you have no idea what she is or will be if you play along and don’t look

They missed the perfect opportunity to dress up for this Let’s Roll. Imagine Jeremy with a Spider-Man mask, or Jack with the green face paint and wig for She-Hulk.
Don't know what is funnier, little Fiona turning into the actual man hulk or husky Jack turning into the sexy she hulk.
I knew it was Jack when he asked if the Hydra members were suppose to know each other. I don't know how that went over their heads.
