Yes I live right down the street from that airport. Every time those jets fly over my house I'm hoping they don't have a flame out. It is a shame that they wont have them but that's what happens when the city allows builders to go nuts and build on every square inch of land they can find. I went there a couple times in the 12 years i have been here. Always great to get a pit pass and talk to the pilots. Thanks for showing.
no it was stopped by greed of the city. They get paid by developers to build on every square inch of land the Airport used to be there with no one around now housing and warehouses are everywhere so it was stopped because of that.
I wonder how long before a wide body full of hundreds of passengers tumbles out of control, crashing & burning in the lunatic crosswind operations at Heathrow Airport & when such operations cease? Flying planes near the ground @500Ks & within feet of each other is equally poor judgment personified.
