Dude.. glad I found you.. 2023 XSR900 Legend Blue here to boot.. got the Dominator dual can Pipes (Very Nice!), getting the VCNut Flash.. and -1, +2 sprockets (11% more Torque, Max Speed still 134(!!), doesn't affect Flash). Air Filter TBD (Pricey.. I may just make my own or go Chinese). Will look at the Air Box Mods to visually assess. VCNuts Dyno Curve differences are interesting and low risk. VCNut says drop in filters don't affect the Flash, but the Lid Filter and Air Box Mods do. Considering a "Dart Marlin Fly Screen, just came out for XSR.

1. Tank removal: Hmmm.;. Push Pins you say? I thought they were Pull Pins w/o a way to pull! Whoda thought? Almost drilled them out an replaced with the screw type like on the other side.

This maybe a dumb question but the plastic retaining clips just keeps spinning underneath
Are you referring to the two retaining pins with the plastic phillips?
@@Kmoto530 yes they just keep spinning …
@@Brettmotorcycles sounds like the treads maybe stripped. I don’t know why they would make a plastic screw with fine threads like that. If you can get something underneath the pin you might be able to push it up while unscrewing it. If it doesn’t work I’d probably use a cats paw nylon trim remover and buy some new clips
@@Kmoto530 it was definitely stripped pulled out with some needle nose ….dont understand why they dont use regular metal screws …thanks
