Oh my Gooood!!! This short is so very well done that I cannot stand with any of the characters like "this one's good and this one's to blame" No. What I and most of us probably can see is two men, just very real men in a harsh and real situation, the despair of a sick man and the impotence of a doctor that may look a bit hostile but he had reasons, if he wanted to help the others that indeed could be saved, he had to be healthy in order to do that. In the other hand there's this old sick man, that abbandoned almost all hope but in a last attempt to find help he feels cornered and needed someone to blame, he needed someone who understood his suffering and despair, and unfortutately, the only one there was the doctor. That made me kind of upset, that and when the doctor just kills him with a sword, like what?! But if you wanted us to question the characters and question ourselves, you did a great job, I completely could see myself in their respective places, What I mean is just....Awesome film, awrsome story, I can't wait to check out more of your work, I love this :D

Alright, here's the story in a worded version; A man, plagued with the Black Death himself, enters a town. Coughing, as he carries the burrow he uses to put the expired in. He looks up, noticing a sign with a beak doctors face on it. Maybe he can get help, he only hoped. The door opened as soon as he was about to knock, and there appeared a Beak Doctor. The Beaked one loomed over the man for a moment before hearing him plea and cry to him for help. The man begged, as the doctor pushed him back, knowing that it was far too dangerous if he did have the disease. He grasped his cane, and examined the man's features. He then pointed to the sign and told the man he will die within a few days. The man was saddened, but was fuled with anger, he lashed out at the doctor. Tearing the cloth from his glove. He had infected him too. The doctor, shocked and in terror, looked at his hand and then at the man. The man only smiled as he was backed out. The doctor looked at him one last time before walking off. The man doing the same, grabbing the burrow of the expired. It had become night fall, and the man, scared of the sudden flutter of wings from the group of crows flying off, carries the burrow. He has grown more ill, but spots yet another expired one in a dark alley. The Beaked man, hidden within the alleyway, draws his sword from his cane, prepared to strike the man. As soon as the man got close enough, the Beaked One stepped out of the shadows, surprising the elder man. Before the elder could do anything, the Beaked One stepped and thrusted his sword into the man, killing him. The Beak Doctor dropped the man and looked at his hand once more, knowing his fate was sealed, but he had gotten the one who had given him the plague in the first place. And you know, crows remember the faces of the ones who hurt them.

No. Unfortunately, there are a lot of younger folks on TH-cam who know of SCP, but not the history of the Bubonic Plague and Plague Doctors. They seem to be gravitating toward videos named after what they think is only a video game character.

Oh my Gooood!!! This short is so very well done that I cannot stand with any of the characters like "this one's good and this one's to blame" No. What I and most of us probably can see is two men, just very real men in a harsh and real situation, the despair of a sick man and the impotence of a doctor that may look a bit hostile but he had reasons, if he wanted to help the others that indeed could be saved, he had to be healthy in order to do that. In the other hand there's this old sick man, that abbandoned almost all hope but in a last attempt to find help he feels cornered and needed someone to blame, he needed someone who understood his suffering and despair, and unfortutately, the only one there was the doctor.
That made me kind of upset, that and when the doctor just kills him with a sword, like what?! But if you wanted us to question the characters and question ourselves, you did a great job, I completely could see myself in their respective places, What I mean is just....Awesome film, awrsome story, I can't wait to check out more of your work, I love this :D

Alright, here's the story in a worded version;
A man, plagued with the Black Death himself, enters a town. Coughing, as he carries the burrow he uses to put the expired in.
He looks up, noticing a sign with a beak doctors face on it. Maybe he can get help, he only hoped.
The door opened as soon as he was about to knock, and there appeared a Beak Doctor.
The Beaked one loomed over the man for a moment before hearing him plea and cry to him for help.
The man begged, as the doctor pushed him back, knowing that it was far too dangerous if he did have the disease.
He grasped his cane, and examined the man's features. He then pointed to the sign and told the man he will die within a few days.
The man was saddened, but was fuled with anger, he lashed out at the doctor. Tearing the cloth from his glove.
He had infected him too.
The doctor, shocked and in terror, looked at his hand and then at the man.
The man only smiled as he was backed out.
The doctor looked at him one last time before walking off. The man doing the same, grabbing the burrow of the expired.
It had become night fall, and the man, scared of the sudden flutter of wings from the group of crows flying off, carries the burrow. He has grown more ill, but spots yet another expired one in a dark alley.
The Beaked man, hidden within the alleyway, draws his sword from his cane, prepared to strike the man.
As soon as the man got close enough, the Beaked One stepped out of the shadows, surprising the elder man.
Before the elder could do anything, the Beaked One stepped and thrusted his sword into the man, killing him.
The Beak Doctor dropped the man and looked at his hand once more, knowing his fate was sealed, but he had gotten the one who had given him the plague in the first place.
And you know, crows remember the faces of the ones who hurt them.

A very interesting dive into the human psyche. Do we blame the old man for infecting the doctor when the doctor could do nothing to help him, or the doctor for taking retribution on a man that was controlled by fear and grief? No easy answer to this question. An amazing video.
