Some of these elevators were recently modernized, the ones in the outer wings were being changed around 2007 when I was visiting a relative. And the main bank of elevators were still original OTIS with a call station that had scrolling numbers that looked like something out of the 1950's. I imagine these are the ones you are riding on here and they are the post-2008 mods. A shame though, they had the most historic look to them, and one in particular was reserved for the Shabbat. I never rode it though, I wanted to remain respectful, especially after an incident in their cafeteria where I accidentally tried to order from the wrong menu. I ordered a Grilled Cheese, since that was in the lunch menu, but apparently it was supper time and they yelled to me "THIS IS A MEAT MEAL!!! WE HAVE HAMBURGERS", and I said fine, I'll take a hamburger with cheese, they practically threw me out of that place! Needless to say, I went to a vending machine and bought a bag of crackers.
retroolschool . Come to think of it. I think they had no choice but to replace these elevators. They are probably not just mods but entire replacements, since I remember reading that they added 2 or 3 floors to the top of this hospital a few years back, so they would have needed a new shaft, a new elevator room and naturally new buttons for the cab, so it's gotta to be an entirely new system.

good story, too bad also about the original Otis.
