Hey everyone,.....! Sorry for the wind noise and sound at times during this episode. We so LOVED this little town, that we decided to post this video about it, even though normally we would reject footage like this. Even with our giant "dead cat" wind muffs, the blowing noise got through. Sues bangs blowing around is proof!
Cool little town! My dad n his parents were from Souix Falls South Dakota I remember very little about it😪wish i did! Thanks for the awesome tour!😊 Safe travels. Mark n Sue 🙏😊🤗❤
I love your channel!! Im the new cohost of the Medora Musical this year and I've absolutely fallen in love with this amazing place too! Roadtripping here from my hometown of Memphis was such a great experience. Im so glad you loved Medora and i hope we get to see you again!! Stay safe out there :)
Welcome aboard! If we take the northern route to CA in a few months, we will FOR SURE stop in Medora again! The Medora Musical Experience & Pitchfork Fondue is as fun as it gets in life,......
@@OurJourneyInMyles wonderful! Try to get in touch with me and i will see about getting you some discounts around town :) i really love your videos and enthusiasm. Would be wonderful to meet you!
So I am going to retire from the Fire Department ( LA.Co.FD) after forty-five years. And my Wife is retiring from Teaching After twenty-eight years. (L.A.U.S.D). We will be full time RV’ers. I thank you so much for all your videos and suggestions therein. When I retire next year, I will have required so much information that I may not be qualified to be call a newbie, Lol! Mark you have an in time since of humor, I simply love it!!! Thank again!!! And I’ll be watching.
Best of luck! I think you are correct,........sitting in a chair studying RV's and RV Life is no different than being in the same campground for a year, that you will quickly learn many people do. They are sitting in their rig, dreaming and studying about living in a stick & brick, and getting out of RVing!
Thanks Jim! The good ones are Sues, and the "OK" ones are mine! By January I should have a few videos out of our November maintenance service, house repairs, new tires and rettroband safety devices installed inside the front tires. Stay tuned!
Call me silly, but I really liked this town. All the Theodore Roosevelt education was handed to you on a platter. This is a great kid family friendly stop.
You are so right Curt. WE NEVER would have stopped here if someone wouldn't have clued us in. Sometimes places like this are just a great change of pace.
Thanks Dean. It killed me to post this because of the wind noise,..........but the town was just too cute to just move on tho the next video. We wanted folks to plan in a day or two in Medora. We sure are glad we did. We are hoping "most" people understand......
Wow, what a fantastic find. Thanks for sharing and I hope to visit one day. I am very much enjoying your video's. You guys are a great couple that compliment each other very well; a pleasure to watch. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching! You are correct in picking up that we had no clue this place existed until a few days before we arrived! So glad we got to soak this tourist trap up,.....it is adorable.
We would never have thought to stop here, thanks for sharing. BTW, your voices would occasionally break up with some distortion as I watched this morning. Maybe my connection but the video was solid throughout. First time I have experienced this with your videos.
Hey Gene. We kind of knew that would be an issue, but the town was just such a gem to stubble on. We added a sound "disclaimer and apology" and pinned it to the first comment.
Medora looks like a cool little town to visit. That buffet looked awesome. Was it all you can eat steak too? So when is Mark getting his drone and Sue getting her new iPad? 👍😎
The drone has been deferred to help pay for (6) tires in November. I will have a fun episode on that! I am going to have the Rettroband safety devices installed in the front tires on the rig as well. I'll get the iPad for Sue for Christmas, so don't tell her. The steak was NOT all you can eat, but it was GIANT! We split one steak, and we were stuffed. We love tourist trap towns like this!
It is nothing special,......clean and quiet,......not many trees,.....lots of pull thru spots,......has a community style pool a half a block along the entrance road. It is the LOCATION that makes it awesome because you are walking distance to the Town of Medora, and across the street from the Pitchfork Fondue and Musical. You are also less than a block from the entrance to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, south unit. We would stay here again. Not sure if much else is available?
Looks like a memorable trip- added to my list of “places to see on the road.” There was a FB article a few weeks ago - “55 Small Towns to See in the US” - you might want to check it out for places to stop on your travels. Be safe!

I went to Medora North Dakota with my grandma back in July 2020 and I still thank her for bringing me
We thought the town was a fun little stop along the way. We look forward to doing the Pitchfork Fondue & Musical the next time we are passing thru!
I love the story of how you found Medora, and those pitchfork steaks are a sight to behold!😊💙🤍❤️👍🏾
Yes they are! This place is on our list to visit again next time we are passing through.

@@OurJourneyInMyles no problem! Didn't bother me😊
when you said Mr. Bubbles ... that smell or scent came right back to me .. immediately
Sue was on a trip down "childhood lane" the entire time we were in the Medora Museum!

Good Morning Mark & Sue ☕️, Nice find off the beaten path!
Call me silly, but I really liked this town. All the Theodore Roosevelt education was handed to you on a platter. This is a great kid family friendly stop.
Looks well worth the ride over to Medora. Never would have thought to stop. Never heard anything about this place.
Safe travels and good health.

I love Medora!
I think anyone that stops, ends up feeling the same.
Great video. You never know what is out there until you talk to other rv'ers. Can't wait for the next episode. Safe journey in Myles.
Ian,........our next episode will be about my MH breaking down again. The fun never ends!
Love the music selection. Nice job. I have never heard of the town, but it looks worth visiting. Thanks!
The pitchfork fondue and musical "date" I took Sue on was really a fun time. This town "NAILS" relaxing, easy, interesting tourism!
Check out the cottonwood campground in the park. It’s beautiful
We will have to do that next time we are in town. I am about due for the play again!

Thanks Sandy,.....I have asked my route planner (Sue) to look into the towns on this list for us! (Winslow Arizona anyone?)
