On 23rd June 1985, passengers boarded the “Kanishka emperor” Air India flight-182 from Canada, in hopes that they would reach their destination soon. But just a few hours after its departure, the flight disappeared mid air. Only to be found shattered in the middle of the ocean with the dismembered bodies of the passengers, majority of whom were Indian.
Recorded as one of the most brutal air attacks planned and executed by the Sikh separatists, the infamous 1985 “Kanishka bombings” shook the entire world to its core. And raised a series of questions, some of which are still unanswered to this date.
Was it a pre-planned attack? Was the Canadian government aware of the attack? Were the Sikh separatists supported by the Canadian government?

I am currently persuading MA History. First of all, there is a big void of reliable information. If you believe in government reports, trust me mate you don't know anything. I am not supporting Khalistan but when I see such videos, I feel that people need to know the other side also, that is the role of government officials and RSS. The lives of Bhindrawala and his mates, which were retired 1971 INDO-PAK war veterans have been portrayed wrongly in the media to create propaganda. Even our professors, 2 out of them are kattar Hindus, they also believe the same. They say it was decided in 1980 general elections only that the Congress government will play the Khalistan Card. But again I repeat this all never justifies these airplane bombings and the other attacks such as Beant Singh assassination. But we all need to know both sides of the story and the problem is that we don't have reliable sources.
I am really proud to say that Sikh community is one of the bravest and most helpful communities in India, who by god's grace are still there today helping us, when we need them, besides a few exceptions. We as Hindus/Snatanis need to learn a few things from them. It may hurt you but it is the truth, which I have learnt during my BA and MA.
We need to see both sides of the story. I know people are not gonna be happy by this comment and trust me when you try to get deep into the events, you will realise a lot of things. The Indian government has betrayed Sikhs so many times.
