I just want a blank roster that I can put players on
You can just play the offline active roster mode, and just go to settings and user teams, and create a new character and just go to that teams trade menu and trade it with your other team, and after just retire that coach and you still have your other team
*AH HA HA HA! That crap worked exactly as advertised. With patience, I could have a team full of all pros. Hell, once I get all the all pros, I'll make everyone 20 years old, and all contracts are 7 years long...LMFAO. (Before the dumb comments start, yes, I played it the right way a couple seasons, including Super bowl wins, so now it's fun time.)*

It is absolutely unacceptable that within a race there is no search engine for players by name or surname, it is too inconvenient to try to find a player.

U should make a video on whether or not it's possible to trade for a new Drafted player that you wanted, but got picked up by another team in the draft... I'm trying all methods and it won't work

Trade away your best player for top picks then change their position to a punter. Then trade a low pick back for them

This is working Tysm for it! Although sometimes when I change the player to p, they literally just dissappear. Sometimes before I try to trade them, and sometimes after I’ve traded them and go to find them in my roster they just aren’t there? Any tips
You have to find them in the punter tab because they're at a new position

Just trade away high overall players then drop their overall and trade back for them

This is dumb...EA dropped the ball for this...i remember madden 18 u just could force the trade...this is TRASH...no wonder the game is selling for real low now....i remember i had mahommes in madden 18 playing for steelers throwing to antonio brown...llmmaoo...

Just trade for a player off their team that has two high of a salary cap or trade-away one of your players that has too high of a cap

yo so i’m on next gen and there’s no option for trading for me. nothing for manage team or roster or any of that and i can’t find any video explaining why
If you read the rest of the comments. I say multiple times that you have to turn off your trade deadline because you're already passed it

@sam.patton if you choose to be an actual player, it's completely different. You can't demand to trade yourself. The team has to do it or you will have to hit free agency

I just tried this to try and get Christian mccaffrey but 9rs have a cap space issue so anything I give will be over the limit for them. Is there a way to get around that? I tried to give just a pick and it said the same thing smh
you can go into NFL rosters and edit players. Change the players contracts or trade for more players with high cap to remove the other teams cap debt
