Guys this is literally government propaganda from the 40s designed to make the public think a certain way and you’re internalizing it. Racial awareness is not taught; it’s learned. Often through experience. Like after the tenth time you’re beaten in the streets by a black or Mexican gang you learn that the 40s propaganda was a lie.

    • @k1ng401
      @k1ng401 3 ปีที่แล้ว +338

@@peachnehi8683 A person who experienced that should be anti-gang or anti-crime. Instead, that normal hatred of injustice has been twisted in some to becoming anti-black and anti-Mexican even though most blacks and Mexicans are innocent of those crimes, just as most whites are. The race of a perp has become this person’s focus instead of the perp’s character. Instead of “I hate criminals who beat me up” he thinks “I hate blacks, I hate Mexicans”. It’s a gut reaction, a trick of the brain to protect him by putting the biggest wall possible between him and the danger. If, his brain says, “all blacks or all Mexicans are dangerous”, it’s easier to put his walls up to protect himself. He doesn’t have to get close enough to a person to work out their CHARACTER and know if they are dangerous, he can see their colour or race from a distance and take steps. All racism is derived from fear and the brain’s attempt to deal with that fear in the simplest most complete way possible: A black man hurt you? Avoid all black men from now on. Try to reduce their power to hurt you in the future by suppressing them or expelling them. All of them, because you don’t know who the bad ones are. That’s how the racist brain thinks. It’s simple and effective, if you have the power. Which the Nazi’s did.

I wrote a paper in highschool, early 2000s, about how Hitler and Mussolini subverted their governments to take power. I closed the essay out with a paragraph about it makes one think how we could lose our democracy in America. My teacher wrote underneath, "That can never happen in America, we have checks and balances!" with a smiley face. I'm pretty sure she didn't read the paper, I think she just checked to see if we wrote the citations correctly and used at least 3 different books and one newspaper article. Pretty sure she told us everything on the internet is made up too.

It’s not even America anymore, it’s not even the west. The idea of America being a “melting pot” was never even introduced until after WWII ended and society has slowly started to fall ever since. And gee I wonder who has been pushing a one world agenda for hundreds of years, it couldn’t have been the poor people we let out of camps who happened to also be in all of the Allies political structure during the war and that currently have more representation in our government and American elites than they did in Russia during Stalins Soviet era. I’m not trying to degrade you or insult you, but seriously wake up. Read more. Think outside of the box about why the Western Hemisphere is in shambles. The fingers all point back to one people. The same people who own Blackrock, Vangard, and everything that you know and love from the media you’ve enjoyed, the products you’ve consumed, and more than likely the people you’ve looked up to. They have always been implementing the ideas of the current downfall into our minds, they’ve just dumbed everyone down enough to do it more openly now and sold it to the people as being “progressive”. Remember Weimar? Or are you unaware of what was being orchestrated in Weimar by the “chosen people”. The world is not sunshine and flowers. Some realities are harsh, and one of those harsh realities is that maybe we have been lied to for a long time and are currently being lied to.

I can repeat the same things as other commenters (i.e. “We should show this in schools!” “We need this film now more than ever” “We haven’t learned”) but I think you’ve already read enough of them if you’ve found my comment.
I’m tired. I’m not even an adult and I’m tired. I feel like despite all my hard work and effort, this world just wants to see me burn. I don’t understand how people can be so mean. I genuinely don’t get where people get off by villainizing minorities and other groups, and then say “well I’m a [insert political party here] and I think it’s the [opposite political party]’s fault that the world is broken and we’re all suffering from their greed and evil.” I don’t give a flying F about what political ideology you follow. I think we can all agree that politicians and politics in general are evil.
What I’m tired of is having my right to be a (living) person debated by a bunch of people I don’t know and didn’t vote for. I’m way too young to be worrying about my life. And before you go on a triad of “oh boo hoo you little snowflake. Quit crying about it and get to work!” I am working. I’m focused on staying ALIVE. I’m trying not to get jumped in the street by a bunch of people who would rather I go away because I’m of a certain minority. I just want to live.

I know you're tired. You're not alone. I'm tired too. I've been fighting for human rights and equality for 50 years. I feel like Sisyphus, everyday pushing that boulder up a hill and everyday having it roll back down. But remember, toiling to push the rock is only torture if you don't find meaning in the work. I've been doing this for a long time and every day I am able to help someone. However small a token of aid, it helps. Telling someone they're not alone helps. Connecting someone with a community that supports them helps. Changing one heart about one issue helps. And that's where I find meaning. There are millions of us who still dream of an America that isn't controlled by Nazis. Today we mourn, tomorrow we organize. We build our communities, we give support to each other, we stay resistant and resilient, we plant our feet and we push back. We are only 18 months from the midterms and if we can show that the future is better when we aren't subservient to a steaming pile of narcissistic feces then we can take back Congress and cut this fascist movement off at the knees.
Yes, things suck now. Things always suck, but it's what we do about it that matters. So do something about it.

One side causes chaos and occasionally censors thing, one tries to bring too much order, we got the parties going for the most extremes rather then trying to find something that works for most people. Thus both sides implement some elements of Fascism.

Imagine how disappointed people in the 40's would be if they realized that there were people dumb enough in 2023 to watch this schlocky and banal 1943 war propaganda film made by Warner Brothers, which was written by an actual communist (who 10 years later was brought up on charges by House un-American committee's), and think that it was "needed". You know what other propaganda film Warmer Brothers made that same year in 1943? Mission To Moscow. I'll save you the time of laying out the plot (you can watch it since you're so enamored with pro-Marxist, anti-Christian propaganda), but its main points were pointing out what a great man and leader Josef Stalin was, and how happy people were in the Soviet Union under communism. Meanwhile, also in 1943, the Germans found the mass graves of over 20,000 Poles who were executed in mass graves, killed by the barbaric Soviet NKVD. Your own government knew the truth, and still lied to you and blamed the deaths on the Germans, all while producing pro Soviet films from Warner Brothers. It took 50 years for the US govt to admit the truth that it wasn't the Germans, which is still less time than it took to learn the lies about illegally arming the civilian passenger ship Lusitania.

Any seemingly successful business is run out/given to a member of the fascist regime. In Nazi Germany, any successful business run by a jewish person would either be shut down or run into the ground by a german who has no idea how to run that business. I can see how some of the right benefit from fascism, being that fascism is right wing, but it wouldn't benefit any right winger who isn't fascist. Any libertarian capitalist who doesn't want the government to run his business is screwed. And, of course, any rich people who aren't part of the regime will have their wealth taken away. So only certain rich people benefit. To clarify, I hate fascism. I am not defending it. But I am a right winger, in the sense that I am a libertarian capitalist type. Warner Bros. made another war propaganda film in 1943 called Mission To Moscow, a longer form fictional film where Josef Stalin is portrayed as a great leader, and the people in the Soviet Union are portrayed as living happily under communism. Sadly, you're so far gone, you'd probably really think that was full of "lessons" also.

Who have we become? Have we learned nothing in the last 76 years. I cried watching this because my father was the son of a poor Italian immigrant and he fought in the Normandy invasion. A war so horrible that it was said those atrocities could never again happen. But here we are. We have become those deluded people we fought against in the name of freedom and liberty. We must find it in our hearts to love one another and have compassion for those who struggle to simply be recognized and heard as equal and not less. And who are trapped in poverty by an unfair and divisive system. Our great country too can fall if we choose to avoid speaking out against inequity and hatred and place blame rather than take responsibility for being part of a more important whole than ourselves. Our future and our children's future literally depend on us finding love in our hearts for each other, our neighbors, and our beautiful planet. Peace, Love and Blessings to all.

Not just the USA. There is a palpable rise in right wing action in many places. Eastern Europe for one, which is a rare grain of truth in Putin's several 'reasons' to invade Ukraine (by sneak attack, same as Hitler). Meanwhile, the republican party in the USA (Trump) embraced the right wing/Neo-Nazi groups in order to grow their party and infect as many simple American sucker brains as possible - that's how Trump won in 2016. Simple fact is this is cyclic. Right wingers had their time in the sun back in the 50s. Then the liberals rose up, delivering more women's rights, legal abortion which rambled on a while as we wrestled with our war in Vietnam and the aftermath leading to a softer right wing reaction with Ronald Reagan Make America Great Again. First black President was a shot across the bow for the right wingers and worse, Obama basically tossed the keys to the kingdom to the gays, fruits and nuts his last 2 years in office and that was too much. And that's how we got Trump, who's an even dumber right wing reaction than GW Bush was. I never cared much for Joe Biden at any point, but I'll take him any day of the week over Trump, and twice on Sunday.

Humans tend to organize by cultural groups, New York had jewish, black, german, italian, hungarian, chinese, etc communities.
Hispanic restaurants employ mainly hispanic people. Chinese, sudanese, japanese, and african american restaurants often employ members of their familial/cultural groups.

Frank D Reagan cut taxes. The result was a 15 year surge in our economy which went through the Clinton Presidency. The Clintons had nothing to do with it. Yet being the politicians that they are, they took credit for it. When taxes are cut Americans are free to invest invest and buy. It creates more jobs. More people are working so more people pay taxes. The economy surges in a positive way. That is the truth. High taxes stifle the economy.

They use you until they come for you. Fascism always has to have a domestic enemy in order for it to work, some group, or groups, to divide and conquer.
If they take from the initial target groups and run them off, kill them, imprison them, then they must have someone else to 'deal with' to turn the suckers against until it is their turn.
The only way it is ever able to work in the first place is for there to be enough people willing to sacrifice someone else in their desire to have more for themselves, right along with enough people it doesn't matter to.
You are left with people who are willing to do that to you either through greed or fear, depending upon where they fit in the scheme of things.

What!? That's exactly the kind of smearing dirt in your eyes when things aren't much better in your own country than in other racist societies. Here oneself is presented better than reality. And the co-responsibility for the emergence of the Nazi movement, through a deeply unjust peace treaty of Versailles, is completely ignored. The failure of American politics in 1919 and the years that followed could hardly be better concealed than with a poor propaganda ham like the one we see before us. What happened when Germany laid down its arms in November 1918? The bulk of the German fleet was interned in England. The Imperial Air Force had been disbanded and the latest aircraft were in French hands. Allied troops had been in the Rhineland since December 1918 and had established large bridgeheads across the Rhine. Germany was no longer able to continue fighting. Despite this, the illegal long-distance blockade of the Allied fleet was not lifted. Not even for the urgently needed food. As a result, 850,000 Germans starved to death in the winter of 1918/19. The blockade was not lifted until the end of June. Then 1 million Germans fled from the separated parts of the country to escape the repression of the new masters. And at the end of the day, everyone in Germany lost their money due to a hyperinflation that is unique in the world untill today. And now please tell me again what kind of message the film has and how true these statements are...
