I love your videos and have downloaded the books you quirked on. Will you consider re-showing or mentioning the title and author after you talk about it please? I often add the books to my tbr but have to rewind after you've discussed then to get the info.
I read A Short Stay in Hell in October too. I really enjoyed it! The scariest thing is the amount of time it’ll take him to find his life story…aka eternity.
Think you did a great job summarizing “And Then I Woke Up” without spoiling the twist. That’s difficult to do. It made my top books last year. I love zombie stories and agree that this one is unique.
I really loved The Troop, The Exorcist and The Hellbound Heart. The Hellbound Heart is actually my favorite book by Clive Barker. I personally really also liked the sequel The Scarlet Gospels, though I know a lot of people hate it. You should try Nick Cutters other novels. Little Heaven by him is easily the best book I read in October and I loved The Deep as well. Great video as always :D
So cool to hear you talking about your experience as an audiobook narrator finally! I’m dying to hear your American accent. Also, I read Legion last month which is the sequel to The Exorcist and I want to recommend it to you. I don’t know if you are familiar with the movie exorcist 3 but it’s sort of an adaptation for it. If you’re not, go into this one cold. The book has some ups and downs and it’s slower to build. Some common complaints are the philosophical side tangents that the main character goes through but I have to say it didn’t bother me too much. I got chills during one of the revelations later in the book.
Carrie, I Am Legend, The Exorcist, Hellbound Heart, dude, you just spent October reading through my teens. 😂 The Troop and Short Stay in Hell have been on my TBR for a while now, so nice to get the seal of approval, and some new stuff that hadn’t been on my radar. Good month of reading
Congrats on your audiobook narrations! In the 90s, when the director's cut version of The Exorcist film came out, the new footage was shocking, to say the least.
I am watching your videos from Russia. And I really enjoy them! I just love the way you describe the books. Thank you so much!!! I just took Something wicked this way comes in the library in original but now I am not sure I'm gonna make it😂. I decided to watch your videos first and only after that to choose a book to read🙂
The gift that keeps on giving, loving the regular videos mate. 10 books.....good month of reading, get the feeling November will be a challenge with those chunky titles on the list 📖☕
Looking forward to your Stephen King tier ranking video. I'm currently reading Little Heaven by Nick Cutter. I'll let ya know what I think when I finish. Great video mate!
…btw. Death of a Salesman by Herman Melville? That sounds horrific, one half a play about failing to realise the American Dream, the other a technical document about sales forecasting and revenue distribution 😱
@@MrCaseHarts I've done my best to steer clear of any spoilers. I discuss what the books are about but nothing beyond what would be on the back of the book.
I'm with you on Something Wicked This Way Comes. You talked about liking the "immature" language of The Troop. Something Wicked is the opposite. Ridiculous language that I just can't see a 13 year old using or even thinking. For me, a big disappointment unfortunately. The scenes with the Dad were okay.

@@zezeest.9744 Thanks! Yeah I chose my words as carefully as I could lol.

You're such a connoisseur of horror. I love it! I think you were one of the people who recommended The Troop a long time ago.

Glad to hear you fit the troop and enjoyed it. You killed it this month

Great content. Thank you❤ Been binging all day
HA! I'm not gonna lie, the thought of someone binging my videos makes me bashful smile. Thanks mate! I'm glad you're enjoying them.
Same here!

Thanks mate! Yeah I want to try and upload a little more frequently now. My goal is 3 videos per week. (At least 2) We'll see if I can manage it.
Best of luck with the uploads, thanks again for videos. Joyful to watch as always 📖☕
I’m really interested in reading A Short Stay in Hell and The Hellbound Heart.

Great month Exorcist is an amazing book!
i love the way you describe things
Thanks Henry, I really appreciate it mate!
Glad to know I'm not the only horror fan that doesn't believe in ghosts.
Yeah. In a way I wish I believed in it all because then horror movies and books would be way scarier lol.
All us gingers are on the unhinged side. Comes with the territory

Just like orange cats 🐈
A short stay in hell was one of the strangest books I’ve ever read.
I want to read The Troop so much but I’m terrified that it’ll traumatise me
Same. Not a huge fan of body horror but this book has been recommended so many times I feel like I need to.

Hahaha! My brain publicly shites itself on this channel once per video.
@ 🤣🤣 just once? God you’re lucky, I need brain Imodium for my vids.
Are there spoilers I’m scared to watch

Have you ever thought about creating a discord channel for like-minded readers to join?! Would be great to join if you did and have read-a-longs etc.
You're lucky. I was bullied every day at school.
