Hi Chris, I'm commenting on the nest video. Crepes are much thinner than pancakes. I agree w/ all u say about French! My ggrand parents came from France & Belgium, tough language & no practicing doesn't help! Love is everyday & valentines life was bad, no need for holiday. My daughter's day is 2/18 31 ones yr. Ago.
I suspect you understand the different languages despite not getting the chance to speak them. Practice does make all the difference. As for Valentine, he got a day named after him…..I just want someone to look after me. It’ll happen. Thanks Tina. Have a good week.
Happy Birthday, Chris! Might I say, you have excellent taste in music. As for me, in less than 40 hours, I will officially join the ranks of US pensioners. After 46 years in the factory, I will finally be free to write, do homeowner repairs to the house, and occasionally cook for my wife (when she allows me to use HER kitchen, LOL!) Who knows? She may even talk me into taking her back to England to visit her remaining family for a nice vacation for us. We shall see. The future is, as yet, unwritten. --Dan
As mentioned Dan. Congrats on the retirement. The key to happiness is having something to do and sharing your life with someone special. That’s only my opinion but….I think spending so much time on my own is getting to me. Have a great week.
All the best for a great birthday! Hope you treated yourself to whatever it is you've been wanting . . . perhaps a sunlamp for those cloudy days. 😎🌥 Take good care of yourself and keep on, keeping on ~ Lacy, Mike & Hamish🤗🌟🐾
Couldn't agree more about the need for a generator. If you are looking to replace your beast, you could do worse than a Honda. We've had our Honda EU20i genny on board since 2013. Charges the batteries in under an hour, is reliable, light, quiet and small enough to tuck away. Happy birthday, fella. 🍰Liz
Thanks Eddy. I really appreciate you’re point of view. This life isn’t that bad, I’m just missing someone to share it with. It’s crap on my own! Enjoy Your Week.
Belated, Happy Birthday Chris! Wishing you happiness and health for the year ahead. Good review of the generator and made us all laugh, especially when you kick it to the moon! All the best Ian
Happiest of happy birthdays Chris. Loving that bun cake! In two days I will become closer to 60 than 50….not sure I’m too enthusiastic about it! I love that mug with the sheep - looks spectacular with the squirty cream on the top 😁. Hope you’re doing well in the latest round of high winds and incoming rain - looking forward to knee deep mud again 🙄. Hope you have a lovely week. Keep smiling xx 😊
I’m in a better location this time so less wind and waves. The mud is wearing a bit thin now so lets hope the sun comes out soon to dry it all out. Thanks for the birthday wish and give the hot chocolate a go. It’s the best thing I’ve tried in a while. Thanks for the support Mishka.
🥳💕 Belated Happy 🧁Birthday 🎉Chris 🧁🥳 The ‘cake’ was a sweet idea 🤭🤭 the soup looks delicious 🍲 Relieved you enjoyed it 🤭 Always a pleasure watching your videos, thank you for sharing
Thank you Jeannie. I appreciate the support and the birthday wish. The soup required less mustard but have eaten it all…begrudgingly. It’ll be better next time around. Have a great week.
I hope you got to spend your special day with those that appreciate your company and that it was a day that you reflected on your mother, after all it was her giving birth day! You definitely keep the vlogs interesting and delicious soup meals. Enjoy the rest of your week Chris!
Interesting thought Val. I spent it alone and did reflect on my mother who gave me up for adoption and the one who looked after me…didn’t. I got phone calls from a number of people who are special in my life but the regiment was my home and family. Someday I hope that will change. Thanks for your support. Have a great week.
@@chrismears-inslowtimeI’m so sorry to hear that and I don’t know that feeling and how it makes you feel but that your life turned out better for having a mother that did want you. I only speak of my motherhood and my mother and forget that so many people don’t come from a traditional family. One day you shall have that family your heart is desiring.
@@valyd45 I met my birth mother some time ago. It was not necessarily her fault but a sign of the times. I would have loved to have been brought up by her as opposed to the one who looked after me. Nature V Nurture is a good experiment that has been done a few times. I largely agree with most of the outcomes My upbringing was done at age 17 when I joined up. Never regretted it but do often wonder what would have happened…
@@chrismears-inslowtime Life throws us curves so unexpectedly and one will never understand I suppose why and I guess some is just fate or how chips fall. I lost a son when he was 17 and all I can do is live on with the wonder of what kind of man would he have turned out to be. Thank you for opening up. It helps us really get you and your vlogs.
Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday dear Chris Happy birthday to you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 You didn't tell us how old Have you been hitting that hatch again? Have a good week.
Thanks Ann. 58 but other than my knees and back, I don’t feel that age. Keep a young mind and hopefully the body will follow suit. Head is getting stronger as there are less scalps that show. I appreciate the support and birthday wish thank you.
Happy birthday! I hope you had a great day... the one thing you will find with Colin Is that he can usually fix most things .. he will Surprise you, lol
Let’s hope he can start with the Genny. He’s certainly got it going and it’ll start with help of the cold start but……it is on our things to do. Thanks for the birthday wish Heather. Have a great week.
It wont be too long before 21 would be tripled. That said 5 years a lot can happen. Nice bun as there was two of them but without a cherry which was sad as there was one in the picture on the packaging! Thanks for the comment and birthday wish Lori.
Very happy birthday, Chris! My son just turned 50 on the fifth, so he’s not far behind you. Since I didn’t know it was your birthday today, I didn’t send you a gift. So, I’ll rectify that today. May 2024 be your best year yet but not as good as those years yet to come!
You’re so generous and kind Tom. Thank you very much. I know what I’m going to be buying in the future…a Honda generator. You’re a gent. Have a lovely week.
I saw the trouble you’re having with your current generator, and that you need that extra power, so you’ve made me feel grateful that I could help out in some small way. I sure as heck hope the next one is a real winner. May the amps be with you.
Belated Happy Birthday from South Africa. From one ex-soldier to another ex-soldier: "Once more into the fray ... Into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live and die on this day ... Live and die on this day ... (Jon Treloar).
Thanks Jon. I loved my life and would do it all over again given the chance. Not sure what we fought for as today’s generation just doesn’t think the same way. They’ll learn I suppose when it’s too late and have to fight through the problems they’ve caused. Take care mate. I appreciate the support and birthday wish
Interesting below your comment it wants to translate to English. It is English but even google doesn’t recognise that word. Thanks Mac. I appreciate the support and have a great week.
I was waiting for you to do a 'Basil Fawlty' on the genny and hit it with a small branch 😁😁 Babby Hirthday Chriss, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the cake. I'm looking forward to meeting Colin. Thanks for another excellent vlog
I was considering it to be honest Gordon but never found a suitable tree or branch. Thanks for the support and have a great week. The iced bun was nice by the way.
Happy Belated Birthday Chris / great vlog, nice footage this week, looks so tranquil - loved the music choices. Thanks for the shoutout to Hinckley 😂 I live just off the Ashby Canal by Trinity Marina - it’s a great journey you should do sometime…. No locks… just a bit shallow in places 😮 take care Chris and have a great week 😊
Thanks Jon. I do plan to do more of the net work but I’m in no rush. No need to get that silver propeller either. I appreciate the support and birthday wish and have a great week.
Happy birthday Chris. If you ever think of replacing that generator, and IF you are only using it for battery charging, you can save yourself some beer money by buying one that’s smaller then 3,000 watts. Have a look at the input power of your battery charger and buy a generator just over that. I suspect a 1,000 watt generator would be plenty. Looking forward to saying hello when you hit old father Thames, I managed to get my boat out of the marina yesterday, the first time since October, because it’s been on red boards since then. It was still on yellows yesterday, but it had to be done 😁
Thanks for the comment Mark. I’ve done some research and although I’ve not bought the right generator, 1000watts is not enough. My leisure battery charges at about 100amps or as much as the Genny will through at it. It’s a 560amp/hr battery and a small Genny would be on for a long time meaning more fuel. I have tripped the 3kW due to power as I wanted to find out what it can do. Battery/Hot water and power station is too much. The Honda 2.2 is probably the way forward and choose what is important to charge first. It’s a game of what is important to charge first. Absolutely, lets meet up as i pass through. Have a great week.
Hi, I suspect your battery charge rate of 100amps is the battery chargers output. The generator will supply the 240V power to supply the battery charger, it’s the input power of the charger, in watts, you need to match. But yes, if you are running an immersion heater as well, you will need more power. Doh…I didn’t think of water heating and I should have. The immersion will most likely be around 2,000 watts on its own, maybe 3,000. If your battery charger is putting out 100amps that’s 1,200 watts at 12v and if it putting out 1,200 watts it’ll be taking in slightly more, those two things together is going to be around 3,500watts So it’s easy to see that you’d trip out. It won’t always happen because that 100amp charge rate is the max, the actual amount will vary depending on the charge state of your batteries. Boats! Toilets and Electrics 😀 add to that water consumption as per your recent video and we’ve summed-up boating. I have a built in Fischer-Panda generator plumbed into the boats diesel tank. It’s the smallest one they make at 4kw
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Hope you have many more happy ones to come A good vlog as always That Choc drink look fantastic Will be giving it a go this weekend And will drink to you cheers 🤪
Happy birthday to you Chris. 🧁 Having a go at a piece of equipment can sometimes help 🤣🤣 I love English humour. Talking about tv shows, only shows I’d ever watch when younger. 🤫
Good to see and hear you as usual my brother in arms. I will add Happy Birthday to all of the others you have received. I have not been well of late and thus the reason for little contact, some meds prevent normal activity.😢. I have followed you since day one of your journey and will continue to do so, even if it is in silence, because you are amusing and professional in all you do. Coffee on the way.
I hope you are able to live as happy and contended life as you can Anthony. I know it must be a challenge as you get a little more experienced in our years. Look after yourself mate. Take care and thanks for the birthday message.

Happy Birthday Chris. That soup looked good. You might just try to soak that container for a while, see if the cheese will loosen up for ya..I agree with a previous comment…I love your music choices. Jealous of the daffodils. colorado looking to more snow in the coming days. As much as we do need it, I’m ready for signs of spring. Thank you for the comment and support Jayne. I've made more soup since and the smog from the pervious one is dissipating. Probably got some smug in the soup I've just eaten...... No repercussions! Thanks for the birthday wish and have a great week.
Hi Chris, hereby I wish yo a delayed happy birthday, as you are still a young man you are happy to celebrate your birthdays. I've given up 15 years ago, as to me it's just another day, very much like the day before. But I do still celebrate my parents birthdays 116 and 115 now, so quite respectable ages, but sadly without their presence as they died 6 months apart in '74 and '75. I am a retired commercial bargee from the other side of the Channel, still living on a boat, although not a barge anymore, and started barging life in '72, so a fair few years ago. It's good to see that even with the usual occasional problems, like an often unwilling genny, you are happy on yor boat. By the looks of it, you are looking after yorself pretty good, which of course is very important. Continue having fun, and I wish you many more healthy years. Atb, Peter.
Thanks for the comment Peter and also thanks for watching the channel and commenting. I appreciate it. I think it must be true love when people die within months of being apart. To be honest, without doing the Tube, I wouldn’t have celebrated my birthday but it adds a bit of content. The Genny is creating a bit of a learning curve for me as is the boating life. Have a great week.
Thanks very much. I’ve offered that type of advice to a few people in my past. They appeared to change a bit whereas I don’t hold out for the Genny to do so. Thanks for the birthday wish and support. Have a great week.
Happy belated birthday Chris and yes spring is in the air my daffodils and snowdrops are showing nicely along with a few weeds , enjoy the Baileys and cream, a little hint that may work for you for cleaning out. Your drinking vessel is to place rice in it with a little soap and water and lid on and a rattle away till it’s clean.👍👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍
Thanks for the tip Tom. I’ll give it a go. I’ve used barcarb and white vinegar which has done well but not well enough. I appreciate the support and thanks for the birthday wish.
Thanks Gary. Looking forward to catching up when he moves out of the marina. Weather is against us currently. Have a great week and thanks for the birthday wish.
Thanks Jacqueline. I was considering the branches too but didn’t find any with leaves on. Wrong time of year. Thanks for the comment and support. Have a great week.
Morning Chris, the generator you bought is a chinese import made cheaply, it has it's place in the lineup and fits many people's budgets, however if you want reliability and the reassurance that it is going to start every time I would sell it and but a Honda EU22 or EU32, excellent genny but expensive at about a £1000 for the cheaper model, Japanese quality and very reliable, but it all depends on how deep your pockets are....as always take care and all the best mate - Paul 👍
Thanks for the advice Paul. My pockets will have to stretch when the time comes. I’m going to run this into the ground and I don’t think it’ll take long but long enough to save for a Honda. Have a great week.
Thank you Sandra. I appreciate the support. The school of hard knock with a PhD in making stuff happen has given me an enjoyable life so far. Sharing that experience in later life is all I need to finish it all off. Thanks for the birthday wish and have a great week.
Happy Birthday Chris! Loving the Birthday Cake. Thanks again for sharing your adventures. Looking forward to seeing what you and Colin get up to. Take care mate Tony 😁
Happy birthday Chris, a word of warning with cold start. Engines can get used to it when starting. We used it in Germany in the 80s on the MT. Use it sparingly.
Thanks for the advice Mike. I’m going to take the HT lead and spark plug off. I don’t have small enough hands to do that so who designed a whole that small.
Don't give up on the genny....it's probably something simple & well known. Look on the internet, phone the supplier & fix it yourself. You can do it Chris
I am going to trash it to an inch of it’s life if it doesn’t behave. I’m going to take the spark plug out but that isn’t an easy task as the access point must have been designed for small children. Even my small hands can’t get in there. It works with a bit of assistance at the start which is useful. Thanks for the comment and have a great week.
Hi Chris, love most of your Vlogs- so please keep them up- anyway I just thought I would share with you about my generator I’ve got a Honda 2200i frankly I’ve found it to be the best “period” and I’ve found that out the hard way, also done the Oxford last year and so far it’s the best- more up around College Cruisers it’s perfect for morning wander around Jerico for coffee and bits and bobs before you walk 5mins into Oxford Centre take care, Pedro.
Honda is the only Genny that has been recommended. I did think about it from the outset but I just don’t understand why I didn’t listen to myself. Thanks for the advice on the Oxford. Hopefully, when the wind dies down I’ll meet up with Colin and we’ll be progressing in good order. Thanks Pedro. Have a great week.
Thank you Karen. I appreciate the support and birthday wish but give the soup a go. Less mustard and add the cheese at the end with a little cream. Hot rolls go down a treat too.
Happy birthday Chris, love your vlogs. Your thought for the day, some scenery, so fed up of mostly, A recipe I’m going to try and then joining you for hot chocolate and birthday cake. I’m ready to face the day now. Thank you.
Hi Jean. The hot chocolate with Bailey’s and squirts cream is my new fav drink after 1800hrs. I think I’ll be getting through a bottle of Bailey’s a week at this rate. Thanks for the support and birthday wish. Have a great week.

Been playing catch up again as it’s summer here but here I am and I noticed you didn’t quite seem yourself these last couple of episodes. Hope by now you’re enjoying some company with the mate you’re meeting at Watford and your stresses are lessening. Do shout if you need a chat although I get that it’s not the same as chatting face to face. Oh and belated Happy Birthday for Sat. Always remember when it’s yours and Michelle’s birthdays. Morning Chris . another stunning video mate.. Unfortunately mate once you start using cold start.you will find that you will have to use it constantly to start the engine. There is two main reasons for a engine failing to start ..no fuel supply the other is no spark. If both are ok. Check to see if you have compression in the cylinder. .by removing the spark plug.. If not then think about getting a new generator as it might be cheaper than a engine rebuild.. Anyway Chris there is loads of tool hire companies that will check the engine for you.fot a small fee... Stay safe and well mate.
Thanks for the advice Wayne. I’m going to remove the spark plug and have a look if that is coated with carbon. It shouldn’t be but…. Honda is probably going to get a sale in the future as their generators appear to work.
As per, great vlog again Chris & a belated Happy Birthday, i wonder what day as I've also unfortunately just gained another year! You're passing close by to where I'm moored so I'll keep an eye open....I'm rather partial to a Bailey's so with hot chocolate & cream definitely going to give that a go. Take care. nb Sarah Kay.
Hi Mick. I’m currently waiting to RV with Colin south of Buckby Top Lock. When Colin moves it’ll take two days to get to Norton Junction where we well go to Braunston and the South Oxford. It won’t be this week but hopefully mid next week. Thanks for the comment and support. Hot Chocolate now beats tea. Thanks for the birthday wish and hopefully catch up soon.
The weather is due to change a little next week. Too far away from the coast to really have an impact but…..never say never. Thanks for the comment and have a great week.
Well, Happy birthday to you from both of us here in Malaysia. The food you cooked did look very good and I always say a spotless kitchen is a sure sign of someone who can't/won't cook, so it should look used. Generators. Given that small generators use petrol that is a stupid price in UK is it really a better option than running the boat engine on marine diesel? Wouldn't it be cheaper to add a second alternator (or swapping the existing one for a bigger one), perhaps with a means to disengage the extra unit when it is not needed? Modern car alternators cut out when not required, so engine drag is reduced. Your boat engine is designed to run for much longer than a tiny generator, has an electric start and uses spare heat to heat your water - even the boat itself will get some heat from having a warm engine there in the hull too. Your point about it being a lifeline should your boat engine fail is valid, but with river and canal rescue that should not be too big an issue. I also don't fancy hand carrying petrol far along a tow path, nor storing it, nor all that pulling on the starter cord. Looks like hard work! This is a question from someone looking through all the issues of what way is better on a boat with a mind to buy one and live aboard, not a case of trying to tell you but hiding it behind a question mark. Hot chocolate. Have you tried using Terry's chocolate orange? We bought a coffee from a vendor at our son's university some years ago and he put a couple of segments in each coffee. Tastes amazing. Regards, Tim and Jalika, Malaysia.
Thanks for the birthday wish. The point you make about the Genny v engine is valid and I’ve wrestled with that thought. I have all the appropriate alternators which do a great job. That said, it’s hours on the engine at idling speed which is not what the engine was designed to do. The longer term effect is a carbon, non efficient engine. It’ll need servicing quicker too. It’s a choice. Most boaters have a Genny. It does mean extra fuel that is not so cheap but dependant on where you buy the diesel, there’s not as much difference as you think. A small bike allows me to transport the fuel. It’s fine That is my homework but there is a divide of the boating community. Thanks for your thoughts. Have a great week.
@@chrismears-inslowtime One thing I am yet to see is a generator style alternator (really high power for large battery banks) on a clutch system, so the user gets to choose when to use it. This would be something able to charge batteries like a fast charger, employing most of the power available from the engine. Diesels operate better under load, something I believe you are aware of from your earlier comment, so I am not telling you anything new there, just explaining my thinking. Running on near idle is really bad for them and can cause cylinder glazing which then wears the rings at an amazing rate.
@@user-xw6wj2qh5n I think the amount of knowledge that is required for boating is a lot bigger than a lot of people realise. The power generator you’re thinking of appears to be a good idea. Many electric boats have a style of generator that may fit your thought. I’m not sure and not sure if many people vlogging will delve into it as it’s not very eco. Thanks for the comment

May I say you seem very jocund today! Lovely music at the start. The thumbnail doesn't look like you, very funny the generator bit, wonder if anyone heard you and was ready to jump in and protect who you were shouting at 😂 Watch those fingers , aargh!!! Oh, and Happy Birthday 🥂
Someone else mentioned the thumbnail didn’t look like me. I might change it for the weekend viewers. I’m learning on the fingers. The cutting hasn’t made it’s way to film making yet. I appreciate the support and birthday wish
Well I hope that splash of Bailey's n cream added a touch of, dare I say it, jocundity to your special day - and let's face it, when you reach a certain age, they're not special anymore are they? possibly you haven't reached that age yet, so hoping there'll be some to make up for it as spring approaches. Cheers and chin up
There was a comment with Jocund written where google asked if I wanted it translated. Interesting how words don’t get used, probably through laziness and people not understanding them anymore. The passage of time, all things change. I’ve reached the age of non celebration and the only reason I mentioned it this year was because of a lack of content as I’ve been stuck in situ waiting for Colin to move. Thanks for the support and birthday wish. Have a great week.
Thanks John. Their service for me was at best below satisfactory. I’ve sent video via WattsApp to a number they gave me and they never responded so I had to find the alternative. Fix it. Everything goes by a post code and no common sense. Can deliver anywhere isn’t strictly true is it. Thanks for your support and birthday wish.
Sounds like there's a business opportunity for men with vans. Offer their Post Code as a delivery address for a certain area and then take the parcel to the boat. Might be some questions of security but with a bit of thought that could probably be overcome. Boaters would have to pay for that service of course but that's just another cross for you to bear. As a retiree once living near Daventry, I would have seriously considered doing that BUT I moved a couple of years ago and now the nearest canal is almost a hundred miles away, so, can't help I'm afraid. Happy Birthday anyway.
Thanks Terry. This is the point I want to make about CRT. There are specified tasks they must carry out and implied tasks they could make a bit of spare capital on. They have vans. There are places with a post code that CRT could repurpose. It just needs a bit of thought. I’m not sure they’re thinking about the canals with people, just a specified task to keep the canals open. Just think what community they could create if they would lead with a little difference of emphasis on people instead of resources. Thanks for the birthday wish and have a great week.
Generators, buy once not twice, I’ve done the cheaper end and although it feels like a win for a while when things go wrong they are a bl🙄🙄dy nightmare. So in my humble opinion based on my experience I wouldn’t buy anything other than Honda now. Customer service and availability of spares is key. If you do get a problem you have a go too. 👍🏼
It was in my thoughts initially to buy Honda but I didn’t listen. Honda is next. I’ll beast this one to an inch of it’s life and buy the one everyone suggests. Thanks Nick.
Reading all the comments the only Genny to buy is a Honda. It’s expensive but I’ve learnt only buy quality. The Champion is just not robust enough. Thanks for the comment and have a great week.
There in lies the issue. Your relying on someone else who is willing to be in when the delivery picks up and returns and then drive to you for something like a Genny. Or drive yourself. A car may be on the cards this year despite not wanting to drive. That’ll be another car on the road because organisations can’t deliver. Their clue is in the title.
I was in the fire service for 27 years We had Honda petrol engine power units for lighting and The cutting gear (which had to start first time!!!!! ) The only problem is they are very pricey but I wasn’t paying
I’m going to run this Genny in the ground and get a Honda next time. Your point gained from experience has sold it to me. Thanks David. Have a great week.

🍰Liz
I’m going to thrash this Champion this year and replace as soon as I can. Honda is certainly on the cards. Thanks Liz. Have a great week.
Happy Birthday Chris...... Be happy..., the alternative sucks. Cheers!
Thanks Ian. It’ll be getting a kicking to the nearest skip soon I’m sure. I appreciate the support and birthday wish.
Happy birthday and thanks Chris for another dose of good old fashioned common sense. Cheers!
Thank you for the support and comment as well as the birthday wish. I appreciate it.
Always entertaining Chris. Birthday greetings from Chris in Devon.
Thanks Chris. Have a great week and I appreciate the support and birthday wish
Happy birthday, Chris!

Happy birthday! I hope you had a great day... the one thing you will find with Colin
Is that he can usually fix most things .. he will Surprise you, lol
Let’s hope he can start with the Genny. He’s certainly got it going and it’ll start with help of the cold start but……it is on our things to do. Thanks for the birthday wish Heather. Have a great week.

Give it a go. I’m getting to like soups especially with hot rolls.

Happy Birthday chris , what are you ? 21 again lol , that bun & creamy drink looked yummy , have a nice day . 👍🎂🎉
It wont be too long before 21 would be tripled. That said 5 years a lot can happen. Nice bun as there was two of them but without a cherry which was sad as there was one in the picture on the packaging! Thanks for the comment and birthday wish Lori.
Happy belated birthday Chris!
Thank you Caroline. Have a great week.

If your battery charger is putting out 100amps that’s 1,200 watts at 12v and if it putting out 1,200 watts it’ll be taking in slightly more, those two things together is going to be around 3,500watts
So it’s easy to see that you’d trip out.

Happy Birthday Chris. Thanks for the laughs again. Excellent beasting of that malingering gennie btw.

@@chrismears-inslowtime happy birthday too 🎂🎉🧁🥳🍰🍻
Morning Chris, the generator you bought is a chinese import made cheaply, it has it's place in the lineup and fits many people's budgets, however if you want reliability and the reassurance that it is going to start every time I would sell it and but a Honda EU22 or EU32, excellent genny but expensive at about a £1000 for the cheaper model, Japanese quality and very reliable, but it all depends on how deep your pockets are....as always take care and all the best mate - Paul 👍
Thanks for the advice Paul. My pockets will have to stretch when the time comes. I’m going to run this into the ground and I don’t think it’ll take long but long enough to save for a Honda. Have a great week.

It’s fine
That is my homework but there is a divide of the boating community.
Happy Birf Day!

Well I hope that splash of Bailey's n cream added a touch of, dare I say it, jocundity to your special day - and let's face it, when you reach a certain age, they're not special anymore are they? possibly you haven't reached that age yet, so hoping there'll be some to make up for it as spring approaches. Cheers and chin up
PS I had to look that word up to make sure it was a word
There was a comment with Jocund written where google asked if I wanted it translated. Interesting how words don’t get used, probably through laziness and people not understanding them anymore. The passage of time, all things change. I’ve reached the age of non celebration and the only reason I mentioned it this year was because of a lack of content as I’ve been stuck in situ waiting for Colin to move. Thanks for the support and birthday wish. Have a great week.
Happy days for whenever it was, I’m a few miles from Hampshire Generators if that helps any
Thanks John.
Happy Birthday Chris . . . mate, forget this singing FFS !!! LOL . . . have a good one, and thanks, I WON'T be buying a Champion genny :-)
Reading all the comments the only Genny to buy is a Honda. It’s expensive but I’ve learnt only buy quality. The Champion is just not robust enough. Thanks for the comment and have a great week.
Deliveries, parts etc generator you ask a friend to use their post code who you can meet up with or you are near 👍🏼
@@chrismears-inslowtime or you have a friend that has an 8’ double skin wall around their property with electric gates and intercom 🤣🤣👍🏼
@@chrismears-inslowtime Chris I’m currently on a P&O cruise ship on a slightly rocky Bay of Biscay When I get home my best mate deals in generators (most large industrial ones ) his knowledge will be better than mine !!!!I will ask his advice and drop you a message We have a leisure Narrowboat currently moored up in Cheshire we might be “going south “ on our long annual summer trip so hopefully might come across you at some point
@@davidpearson243 any advice on this matter is gratefully received. The annual trip must be great to spend with friends on a boat. That’s the way to enjoy life. Always lovely to meet up and if you do find yourself in the area, always knock for a cuppa or hot chocolate n Bailey’s.
Happy belated birthday 🎂. Loved your vlog, made me giggle several times, might have to source some hot chocolate, already have the Baileys (Lidl knock off) but can’t do the 😅squirty cream, devils food 🤢
I’ll try the Lidl knock off. It’s a great bed time drink and basically a drink for all times of the day providing driving isn’t required. Thanks for the support Michele. Have a great week.
I was kicked out an O group due to too much Garlic in the Crew stew .
Basically had to listen in from the outside 😊
That was a bit harsh. Surely everyone had the same stew so why just you? You could have just put on your S10! Thanks for the comment Kris.
@chrismears-inslowtime I must admit it was a bit much considering the garlic air was not just coming from my mouth 🤔
It was a heads of sheds O group hence myself being the only one there affected :) My chaps were quite amused when I informed them of what happened on my return to the Gun :)
Our all ins were quite famous within the Battery with many amazing moral boosting meals being produced with a variety of additional powders and ingredients to make compo taste edible:)
Have a lovely week and safe travels
Happy Birthday. Got another bump on the head I see. Get a hard hat. Great Vlog as usual, all the best.
The bumps keep on coming from a boat that keeps on giving. Thanks Bob. I appreciate the support and birthday wish
