For the puff pastry i use Pastry Margarine which is stocked in cake products shops. Secondly, it is added once you've already formed the dough and pinned it out the first round. The margarine will eventually be incorporated into the dough with every roll out you make. Atleast you are okay with the folding, probably next time after every roll out and fold leave the dough to rest in the fridge for 20 minutes before rolling it out again, i do it 3 times. Aki i hope that i've made sense 🤪😅 Loooooved all the rooms aki!!!
The apple strudel turned pie looked so yummy 🤤. The delicious but dreaded puff pastry (I'm scared of making it) but it looked like it didn't have enough moisture 🤔 . What helped me to make baking fool proof was using bakers percentage to adjust any recipe quickly and error free.
They definitely picked some tasty stuff, and you delivered!! Lol I wish I had a tip to give about your puff pastry, but all I have is one for when you're using parchment paper instead: Before trying to make that unruly paper stay down in your baking dishes, crumble it all up in your hands into a lil waud so it gets plenty crinkly and then put it down and it will actually mold to the shape you're wanting. No more wrestling it! Haha. Good luck with your future pastry endeavors, and bless your beautiful family!
