WHEN (I'm manifesting it) When Dishonored 3 comes out, we better get more pandyssia lore. Also, idk about you, but I really think DH3 needs way more time spent on normal levels. Like the first DH2 mission before going to adimire. 2-3 levels just exploring and doing missions in regular city sections.
The second level of DoTO, I felt so annoyed when I started walking normally in a 'neutral' area and the guards got upset. It'd be nice to just enjoy the ambience for a bit. There's not even a reason for them to know Billie by sight, she work a mask during the old days.
Pandyassia always excited me because it's so damn lethal but somehow people live there. Maybe the explorers just find the worst spots, but with how the fish threw themselves onto the decks to kill people I like to think the land itself just doesn't like them. The locals might have started turning to the Void for protection against the lethal mess they lived in IMO. I'm digging the refugees theory, the book 'Death in the Month of Songs' supports old knowledge of the rat plague and the Abbey of the Everyman would make sense to form from a group of escapees from a collapse caused by abuse of the Void (the Lonely Rat Boy and the tabletop make summoning disease carrying vermin seem a fairly common Void power). Great video, I'm glad to see more DH lore right as we're starting to play the tabletop system
When I was getting close to killing or releasing the outsider, I noticed there were around five or seven pilars inside the void. I think he was located under one of them. What is, or who are below the other ones? What happened to the people harnessing powers from the void given by him once he was released? What happened to the breaches? Will they become bigger if no one takes control over it? And I've been thinking about something else these days. What would happen if Delilah realized she's inside a prison of her own device? Isn't that place like another void? Didn't she really become a goddess despite being trapped there? If certain people got to know about her actual state, would they be able to praise her and get in touch with her?
@@hoagie911 Considering the whole universe of Deathloop is the same than with Dishonored, I am sure a lot of juicy lore could be dug up if one were so inclined. There's a lot of neutral stuff regarding the ethnicities and nationalities of the characters, but the Motherland - faction as an example is an obvious reference to Tyvia and a lot could be gleamed from them through this.
pandyssia is the outsiders own world, made in his image. a garden of eden if you will. the isles is what existed before, the old world. he plays with the world out of spite for it.

I would LOVE more Pandyssia lore. Maybe traveling to the inside of the continent to see what's there
Yeah I wish I could explore Dunwall a bit without having to deal with plague and being a wanted fugitive.

I want To play in Tyvia and Morley
@@ericlewisauthor it would be nice to explore Dunwall without all that. There's tons of secrets in that big ol city
No way they put Australia in the dishonored world 💀

Glad you enjoyed it! I've used the RPG guidebook as a source a few times, but I guess it's everyone's own opinion how much of that to take as canon.
I was always a little sad we never got to go to Pandyssia, so I'm really hoping for it to be the setting in Dishonoured 3
Yeah there's definitely lots of potential since so little is known!
Pandyssia sounds very close to "abyss", and I would love to see interplay between the Void and the inhabitants/lore of Pandyssia.
I love the voicing in these videos it's Dame near relaxing
I also subscribed. the Amount of Lore I can find is amazing I found myself playing dishonered again while watching these videos
HxH's dark continent and Dishonored's Pandyssia share quite the similar concept

These are some very interesting videos, I’m glad I discovered this channel.
These are great! Great lore vids for such a cool franchise.
Thanks so much! If there's a lore topic you'd like a video on please let me know.
Maybe something about the whale oil revolution? Always seemed like one of the most fascinating parts if DH to me.
@@Melon11776 I could, but the Tales from Dunwall episode 1 covers that pretty well.
@@ericlewisauthor true
Have you considered on cross-referencing stuff or finding new lore in Deathloop since it shares the same universe with Dishonored?
No, I haven't played it.
It's a great game but there's not a lot of overlap

This is excellent
Another hit
Thanks, I hope so!
They should have have dishonored 3 on pandyssia or at least partly on it
*dishonoured
No, it's Dishonored. The game title uses American spelling for honour.
3:34 no, thats just ur mom
