    Thanks for the video Kat. Please help with advice, which laptop would you recommend to start development with?

      For starters I'd recommend any laptop that has 8gb ram, intel celeron processor or i5 processor and 250+ storage.

    Yo bro I'm afraid and confused, coz chatgpt can solve any coding problem that I even sometimes myself can't solve. So why would an employer hire me if chatgpt can do the work I can do and even better than me. I taught myself html/css, bootstrap, javascript and react.js. I'm no longer sure if I should still apply for jobs now or I should learn the backend then apply or what.

      ChatGPT is not always accurate and can't code everything for you. It only helps developers to solve problems faster. But of course in the long run it might render software devs obsolete if it can do everything in real time and much more effectively. But in the next 5 years I think we safe.

      I was once in the same position, I am still new in coding and watch Kat's vids. What got me out of that thought process was CLEAN CODE, SOFTWARE DESIGN PATTERNS, SOLID PRINCIPLES, DRY PRINCIPLES and AECHITECTUAL PATTERNS. These words might sound big but they are just BEST PRACTICES or a certain way of doing things. Im working from home as a Frontend for a South African based company, i notice that everyone can write code but at work i am coached to write it in a CERTAIN WAY (Clean Code). CHAT GPT will write a WORKING CODE but not a clean one or an efficient one. Clean code is a skill that you learn overtime and its crucial for working in a project with a lot of members. CHATGPT cannot do that, it will tell you that the solution are as of September 2021, i guess that was its latest update. Its a great tool for learning and finding solutions and i am using it. It wont take your job and you are still important in the eyes of an employer

    Hey bro l, i watched some of your other videos on how you became a developer and i was wondering how you find the jobs you apply to. Because ii checked Indeed and LinkedIn and all the posting require a degree.

    • @katlegodeveloper
      @katlegodeveloper  ปีที่แล้ว

      The simple rule I apply when applying to jobs is to ignore the "Degree" or "Diploma" requirements. Just apply regardless of that requirement shown on the job description.
      Good luck.

    How do you connect two monitors showing different windows?

    • @katlegodeveloper
      @katlegodeveloper  ปีที่แล้ว

      The shortcut is "WIN+P" on windows which will show display options and you can choose the relevant option.

    How math focused is software development

    • @katlegodeveloper
      @katlegodeveloper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not a lot of math involved compared to other fields like Machine learning and data science.
