Great presentation. I am so glad to have found this trailer, excellent fit for all my needs in a tiny trailer and no space wasted. Love the screen door, nice windows, and the ability to have a cassette toilet and a great sink/countertop area, well lit, great storage, and overall length and weight I am seeking! I will check with my local dealer.
It is a cool small trailer but it has two major flaws that I can't negotiate: 1. The roof rack will need to be rated for over 700 static lbs. While convenient small size and weight for off-roading, it would be nice to have a roof top tent for at least 3 people. Two adults and a child. Just in case. 2. Definetly needs a camp side awning. 3. You didn't mention holding tanks capacity but I would hope 40 gals fresh water. 4. I don't remember if there was an outside shower. 5. It would be nice if you can have a the option of the propane hook up to feed from the front outdoor storage. The 1 pounder while refillable, will not last a full week camping trip. Maybe an 11lbs tank holder toward the back on a extended tire fender. If people are smart and wait untill fall or winter, the RV prices come down a little. Usually 10% or more. An Ember ROK currently is listed $19K and it is more equipped and more features than this one. I don't know the prices but many Ibex and GeoPros will be within 500lbs and have more space and creature comforts than this one.
The biggest difference between this VENŪ and all the others you mentioned are the materials being used. The VENŪ features an all-aluminum chassis and frame, the others are all a steel frame structure. The VENŪ is also 100% wood-free…no rot, not mold, no mildew, no problems. The number one RV killer is rotting wood and mold…once that happens, repairs are either expansive of cost prohibitive, often rendering a trailer unusable and severely deflated in value. This trailer will never suffer any rot or mold issues because there’s no wood to create the problem. The one-piece roof from the front stoneguard to to the rear tail means no seams, less opportunity for water intrusion…all of the other trailers you listed have seams somewhere in the roof and I don’t believe any of them feauture a fiberglass roof. Speaking of fiberglass, the VENŪ features hi-gloss fiberglass, you don’t see any fibers in the glass…just smooth gel coat…the other trailers all have fiberglass with print through where you see the fibers. VENŪ features all-aluminum cabinetry…all fastened to the aluminum frame…the others use wood cabinets with wood cleats…these simply don’t stay attached in a trailer going down the road, let alone going off-road…over time they will experience issues. With an RV, you really get what you pay for…VENŪ is certainly not the least expensive trailer out there, and it was never intended to be…it’s designed to truly last a lifetime and deliver high quality of ownership.
The dinette needs to be that large as it converts to the bed. A new model is going into production next week that includes quite a few changes. Same size trailer, but includes a cassette toilet, two burner stove, Dometic drawer refer, and 20# LP tank to name a few!!
That was a big limiting factor, we tried to do that, but it just doesn't fit right. There is a pretty cool portable awning by Moon that could be added to that side of the trailer. See it at moonfab.com
If you don't option the refrigerator there is a space in the front corner to put a portable cassette toilet. If you have the refer, you can store the portable toilet under the bed at night.
Depends. Hubby (6') and I (5') fit on a 46 in mattress in our 4x8 teardrop. This bed is 2 in. wider, and it's not right up on the walls to bump into, lol
Great review and walkthrough, thankyou. Can this trailer be optioned with 200-300 watts of solar up top and independent axle-free timbren type suspension?
The selling dealer can outfit any number of solar optons mounted to the roof, 200-300 watts would be easily achievable. We are making the necessary changes to the frame to accommodate the Timbren Axle-Less suspension...we should be offering that very soon! Great riding suspension! Thanks!
@@xPaPaDx for actual purchase cost including shipping and DISCOUNTS, you should speak with your nearest authorized Encore RV dealer, these are not sold at MSRP, dealers provide discounting from MSRP. You can find your nearest authorized Encore RV dealer by using the dealer the locator at encore-rv.com/dealer-locator/. Keep in mind, this is not an entry-level trailer...it is built 100% wood-free and utilizes composite materials and aluminum in lieu of wood. Wood is one of the biggest enemies of an RV and over time will unquestionably rot, mildew or hold mold. Wood cabinets in an RV that travels up and down the road and over rough terrain simply will not stand the test of time. The cabinets in the VENU are 1/8" aluminum plate, CNC laser cut, formed and powdercoated...every attachment point is laser keyed into the cabinet so the team member installing the cabinets installs them identically on every trailer...everywhere a fastener holds a cabinet it is secured to aluminum tubing in the frame...the cabinets actually become an integral part of the strength and construction of the trailer. The entire frame is all-aluminum, all-tube...there is no steel in the frame...so it will not rust or require painting. Every aluminum tube is welded 360 degrees. We manufacture the frame utilizing what we call Tri-Bond Construction...when we join the aluminum sidewall frames to the main aluminum chassis, we first use an industrial adhesive called KoraPur, this not only permanently joins the wall frame and roof frame to the chassis, but it also acts as a vibration dampener. Before the KoraPur industrial adhesive is set, we mechanically fasten the components together...first we drip a hole in the top of the wall footer tube and then run a mechanical fastener down through the hole, which pulls the bottom the tube down tight to the chassis, if we were to simply run the fastener through the top of the tube it would crush and deform the tube as it was tightened. Finally, when everything is assembled together, we go back and weld the entire structure together creating the strongest frame possible. I think if you see an Encore RV in person, you will agree the quality, fit and finish is on another level...we're not building large quantities of these...we're focused on quality, and it shows in the finished product! Take a look, you won't be disappointed.

Need a video of the bed set up, great sales pitch but the bed is probably one of the most important things.
It's narrow, like 48 inches wide. Normal 80 inch length. We could do it, as our 4x8 teardrop has a 46 inch wide bed, but it's tight for two.
Cabinets look great but for gods sake it needs a toilet and shower not a massive dinette. Just give people what they need.

Is there an outside shower? Also assume the dinette converts to a bed??
Yes, there is an exterior shower port on the rear roadside wall. You can see the bed configuration at encore-rv.com/venu10kb/.
Are yall going to make a survival series for this as well, like the ROG?
I don’t think that will be offered on the VENŪ, at least not in the immediate future.
Don't see bathroom facility

No bed
The dinette converts into a bed.
It's an oversized tear-drop .
I don't understand why the bed config was not shown, given that about 80% of the time inside a trailer is spent sleeping.
