I read on another creator’s video comments that another polygamist claimed Big Love was based on his family. He was Brady of My Five Wives. Of course I believe you! Also AI overview says Big Love was not based on My Five Wives. The commenter may have been mistaken.

The girl that got kidnapped was from the AUB because her mother had left a different polygamist cult & joined the AUB. So the men from the other polygamist cult came to the AUB and kidnapped her back. Hopefully that makes sense. It wasn’t members of the AUB doing the kidnapping.
