I'm in my mid-20s and just started as a trainee software engineer at a big company and love seeing your videos pop up on my page every other day. You give really great advice and it motivates me to work harder!
@sam may I ask what agency you used or the company you're working at as I'm looking for my first role and finding it really difficult I live in the uk if that's of any help, thank you for the help in advanced!!
Thank you for this video, I really needed to see this due to seeing much negativity towards being a software engineer and focusing on different experiences for different people and just staying on a positive note for motivation to continue with my choice in software engineering as I try not to focus so much on where I’ll end up working or just after I finish School for coding
Awesome! Your current desk setup is pretty cool and it's a good thing to see a female software engineer. It encourages me alot as a computer programmer. Thank You for the vlog🙏🙏👍
I know some people prefer it this way, but just as a feedback: I personally find the background music while you're talking really distracting, I generally prefer no background music during talking segments, but you maybe you could play around with making it a bit more quiet? Anyways, I really enjoyed this vlog and the insights into your workday
Hello thanks for all your videos. I would like to ask what software do you use as a personal knowledge base? And actually what is the hierarchy you follow?
@@TiffInTechTech, sorry maybe I asked the question the wrong way. I mean when you would like to keep a note with a code block or to create a personal tutorial to review and use it in a future project, where do you keep these notes? For example, I use OneNote but If you have a better idea, I would like to hear it.
IMPORTANT TIFFANY: you said once you live in Toronto or Ontario right? Do you ever plan on holding "workshops", classes or seminars one day? Teach this
@@TiffInTech hi Tiffany, I don't want you to feel uneasy but if your ok with email, I'll let you know where I reside and hope you'll travel to do classes or workshops on this and coding! I've been looking in my area......none
This is great Info! This comes out a pretty good time for me. I just started CodeCademy and have been documenting my progess on my channel. Tiff I have really enjoyed your videos for a long time. Thanks for all the inspiration.
The mental work needed to be able to be a software engineer is too much for me. lol Now I see why ya'll get paid so much. Funny thing is I'm an INTJ so it's not that it's hard to understand it's the sitting in front of a computer that long that does it for me.
I am INTJ aswell and yeah it gets really difficult for me to sit in front of the computer the whole day. So, what I do is as soon as I get up in morning I don't think, I just switch on the computer and start programming. Another thing is listening to music while working makes programming a lot more relaxing and entertaining.

@@tenminutetokyo2643 some places call junior devs or interns "trainees." Might be what they mean.
