I have been remote since March of 2020. As a developer, I really prefer it rather than going back into the office. Collaboration with my coworkers and management has been no problem.
Remote is great. Being able to get my work done wherever I want is fantastic. Especially since I’m trying to pursue school. I really don’t get much benefit from being in an office. Forcing employees to work in the office is an outdated concept. Give people the option. This is a business relationship. Relationships are a two-way street.
Not that long ago I changed jobs because the previous job was working from home ( before the world went mad) and I found it very lonely and there was no option to hybrid work ( no office) but now I'm in a job working in the office, it's great but finding myself missing working from home haha and using my own setup but I agree, definitely pros and cons with it.

I've been working remotely for 8 years. I wouldn't change it for the world. Pre-Covid I used to go to the office maybe once every quarter, if that, just to see colleagues.
i like working remotely, I focus better and I'm much more productive in my home office. Currently doing hybrid 50% remote 50% office. It's also nice to see people in the office but i couldnt imagine being in the office every day
I Work From Home since 2011, so the pandemic did not change anyhing to me :) When I go to the office once or twice a year, I feel so unproductive that day, so I am really used to WFH
yeaaaah im early in the update. lets goo. i like your videos alot ^^ i was born in canada but at the age of 2 my parents moved back to portugal and i never went back to canada.. your videos make me nostalgic.. which is stupid since i dont remember anything and i never visited.. but somehow i still miss it. Keep the good work ^^ bye
I'm mostly remote...I only go into the office a few times a month. Mostly to hang out with the people on my team and go to lunch. But overall, I wont do the office full time ever again.
I, like lots of folks, switched to remote last year but I've changed jobs and now I'm back in an office and I'm very happy with the choice. I was very disappointed with remote work. I thought I'd enjoy it more but I prefer separating the two parts of my life. Remote work can make me sluggish and less productive. Now I spend a lot more time coding personal projects than I did when I was home 100% of the time. I might switch to a hybrid soon but right now I'm enjoying being back around people in an office. To each his own 👍
What pros I found was like you’re in home enjoy !! , and cons they give you lot of work 😂
haha this is true!!
I love working from home but I kinda miss having human interactions and doing happy hour with my coworkers haha

I'm afraid I chose the wrong industry. Hard to conduct healthcare remotely.
