@Joseph Saju, It is far too complex to be viable and applicable to different vehicles with differently powered and shaped battery packs , cooling mechanism and battery management system. In real world, such a swap would take at least 30 mins, if not more. So there would be no reckonable gain in time as compared to a fast charger. There are many other technologies in the horizon, far better than a battery swap eg: capacitors

They make them profitable by providing other services like car wash, foods and small entertainment during the waiting period even membership for their brand's stations..
So eventually we are pay not just for charging but for the service the station provides.. (which make charging too cheap to maybe free )
