Beautiful singing. Thank you, I have played it many times! The video footage brings back happy memories of my time at Peterhouse, including an episode where, outside the Sexcentenary Club entrance, someone threw a cigarette butt onto the cobbles and the dead moss caught fire and fizzed like a firework because it had been treated with sodium chlorate! The views from above show an aspect of Peterhouse that most of us never get to see.
Thank you for a wonderful Christmas gift. The blending of the voices and quality of recording are once again masterful, as they are in your rendition of "A Great and Mighty Wonder." I find your sound much more intimate than that of bigger choirs, an example being the King's College version in which the parts seem to get jumbled together to produce a monolithic quality. Ah, were I young enough to seek enrollment in your choir!
love watching these videos
lovely sound from this choir -- one of my favourite carols.
Thank you! One of our favourites too!
