A solid tip for the Viper for Fox-2 is to change the mode from Slave to Bore. Slave limits the maximum axis of the 9X to the radar gimbal. Bore allows the full 90 degrees. This means that you can get a lock before the target is in the WEZ, and then fire as soon as the situation is better. It also means your WEZ is greater than you may be used to and it increases the opportunities for kills.

you can directly slew around the heatseeker on the fox2 missiles using the "Cursor Enable" bind and with the aim9x you actually get a bigger tracking cone than with the radar. So you dont have to lock them up then then unacage the missile.

The Warsaw Pact hated the idea that NATO nations would have an inexpensive and potent counter to the threat that they posed to Western Europe. It was a brilliant play on the part of the USAF.
It would be about the same as against the flanker. Thing is DCS compared to real life has been described as more draggy according to real life pilots so everything underperforms a bit. Now they have fixed that with the f16 in some way but they haven't fixed it with the old fc3 modules so they are underperforming and are un realistic. So take the result of these fights with a grain of salt

You Russian pilots drink vodka at preflight, It definitely makes a difference at the end of the engagement. Generally, post ejection you float down to the trees with your ass on fire.
One more idea that might be cool - a running total of the price tag of aircraft you've lost versus aircraft you've claimed - a different take on score!

7:21 the Flanker was inpatient, he pulled too hard to get a solution on you but Flankers like to enter a spin after hard pulls. Although he was able to escape a manoeuvre kill, he had no chance to get away with it. It's next to impossible to beat the Falcon in a rate fight on the deck, he could have tried pushing one-circles and possibly break sight.

Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield. Then, at other times, you're the opposing, ejected, pilot who's facing off against GS as you're floating back to the ground.
I gotta say fight number 3 was a little sus... having a sidewinder warhead proxy detonate right in the front of your plane should have ripped into the cockpit and nose of the plane like a chainsaw. That's an Annular blast frag warheadwith 20 pounds of boom going off. Its specifically designed to carve up airframes like a roasted chicken. He didn't even look or fly like he had been damaged. I wonder how DCS models shrapnel. IMHO he shouldn't have survived to fire that Archer at ya.
In dcs. What would happen if the enemy pilot somehow ejected and the seat with the pilot hit your aircraft? Would the game even register what was happening? Would it damage your aircraft and kill the other player? Might be a funny video. Try to eject and get a kill with your body and seat destroying the enemy aircraft

It looks like modern high off-bore missile close combat is basically a suicide for both opponents, regardless of maneuverability. And they are both restricting themselfs by NOT shooting before the merge, because it would be an instant suicide bor both of them 90% of the time. Great channel.
Its good to see the F-16 getting the FM that it deserves based on IRL specs. The F-16 is supposed to be lethal in a knife fight. The USAF already had the F-15 for air superiority in BVR, they wanted a light fighter that could do multi-role and take on threats that broke through the MAR where the F-15 may not have been suited to fight in. Fun fact, the program that delivered the F-16 also delivered the F-18 to the Navy, both prototype designs were accepted under 2 different branches and designations, and both are still incredibly lethal in a fight to this day, despite being 1970's designs.
