Hey! Please subscribe!:) Tell me you favorite economy tips in the comments 💰
love the music got a playlist? GOOD VID
MR12 has turned every game I play into teammates forcing every round..
like they didnt do this before lmao
As a staunch force buyer, I must say, I did that in GO too.
this is because of ranks being messed up rn not because of mr12
Economy is the same so when you should buy / not buy carries over the same from MR15 to MR12 (Except you obviously have to force R12 / R24 now instead of R15 / R30 before)
I feel like they should put a mode where it is mr 15 because mr 12 isn’t really the best compromise. I used to play a lot of short comp (mr8) and mr 12 isn’t a good replacement for that, or the longer version because of how long it often takes.
The score board also shows you how many enemies survived last round (and who won it) which enables you to make good guesses about what sort of buy to expect from your opponents.
Avoid tight spaces and go for more long ranged fights if you are expecting the enemies to be on light or force buy.
Super important!!
Found out about your channel last night and binged…..
After watching all your guides, I was like
“Man he really needs a video about eco”
Thanks bro 😎
Hahahaha that’s perfect
I can't believe valve just straight up deleted the kill reward info in the game. Doesn't show up anywhere not even in the loadout section. And its so important - its part of why anti eco buys are so useful (if you know the enemy team is ecoing you buy smgs or shottys so you get higher kill rewards and also you don't drop good weapons if you die).
Started getting into CS with my buddies a couple weeks before CS2 launched, these videos have been a great help! Keep it up :)
Hell yes bro I’m glad you’re getting into the game! You should join my discord:)
Good luck on your journey 🤞
Love the clear subtitles in your videos
I’m glad you like them:)
Not sure many above average players would agree with saving 2nd round on CT side. Majority of the players at a higher-level force a Deagle 2nd round and hold distance for picks against 2nd round rifles. Doing economy damage on 2nd round is also important if you get 2-3 kills and can maybe save a smg/rifle
From my experience, it's easier on CT side or even T side in some cases to force a Deagle with a set plan in place to grab picks and perhaps win the 2nd round even after losing the initial pistol round.
1. Buys depend on the map
2. Depends on whether bomb was planted or not + by how many players you lost (kill money)
It might be true (I doubt it honestly), that a majority of higher-level players force a deagle 2nd round, but it isn't correct. Pros often just full eco or play only 1-2 deagles after losing pistol round.
Why? Because you can full buy on the 3rd round and enemies are stuck on galils and smgs, except they throw those away and buy a new AK, which is terrible.
Ts economy afterwards is rough then and you get another free round win.
@@Bj-vd2tp like I said from my experience in a higher level, It’s always been common to force a deagle regardless of the map or if the T’s planted bomb. I certainly hear you in the fact that’s it’s stupid but again at a higher level there’s calculated risk in the chance that a deagle can close a round and open opportunities to win rounds that were nonetheless over based on economy. Pros don’t force because at that level they’re coordinated teams with statistics on these things. In a regular faceit/higher ranked MM game one or two players forcing a deagle and the T’s hitting the wrong site stack can end the wrong with proper aim and other sorts of tactics
If you full save and second round on ct and then buy kevlar+helmet and m4 on the third round you will not have enough money to buy util that you need to win the round. The Ts on the third round easilly have enough money for util for a full execute. At higher levels and in pro play the CTs need the util to win the round. This is why losing pistol on CT is considered a double save where you can either force second round and full save third if you lose or full save second and light buy third.@@Bj-vd2tp
Great point! The CT force was something I considered talking about, but figured it’s not relevant to the majority of players and wanted to keep the video concise. Force buy win chances go up and up with skill, and the second round force isn’t typically super viable until teams get well coordinated. Thank you for the comment as it’s good for ppl to know that this is an important aspect of the economy amongst pros, semi pros, and high level faceit
@@WilsonCS2I appreciate you not going into details on the Ct 2nd round force cause I know it gets pretty complicated and situational. I’d say for the majority of people (lower ranks like me lol), a full save 2nd round into full buy is much more reliable. Thanks for the content bro!!
on T side you can actually have 1 guy force buy and the rest just saving . it is called AK Hero strats where 1 guy has an AK-47 with the rest of the teammates baiting the enemy for him
It's important to keep in mind that it's ok to not save when the team does, but it is of utmost importance that you buy on buy rounds.
THIS is exactly what I needed as a new player. I never know when to eco or to buy and didn't find any up to date videos about that topic. Can you do videos about how to hold bomb spots on each map next?
Thank you so much man:) I can’t promise anything I’m terms of next vids, but post plant situations will def be coming up
you should make a video called: an unethical way to top frag in cs2
it tells about how to bait and how to use ur teammates (in an unethical way) to get kills😈😈😈😈💯💯💯💯💯
😂😂😂 that is a wild video idea
My mm teammates have this mastered
Instructions unclear. Got arrested for peddling illegal firearms
I've been struggling for so long to understand economy so this guide makes it super easy and has all the types of buys and everything thank you
Awesome bro glad I could help:)
This is a good guide. The first I've watched on the subject in a while. I've been playing for a long time, but always struggled to know the correct move/meta concerning economy, and never really bothered to sit down and learn it. I recently realized it's a major gap in my game knowledge, and so here I am.
I still have a bunch of questions I'd like clarified that I'm going to just going to splatter all over here. Sorry, I know it's a lot of questions, and I don't expect the essay response required. Maybe consider replying by making a part two for more advanced players, diving into more specific situations and the choices available, so I can like that one too 😉. Or if anyone has a link to a good guide that goes into greater detail, that'd be cool.
You said to prioritize bomb plant on t-side pistol so you have enough money for a competitive force on second round in case of a loss. Should you prioritize bomb plant over the potential to win the round, for example, when you're last alive and cts are closing in site? Does it make sense that your t-side pistol strategy revolves around doing the most to guarantee a plant from the beginning, at the expense of overall round win potential?
And say you lose pistol without a plant. When does it make sense to save/light buy second round, and when does it make sense to force regardless? Then as a CT, say your team decides to force second round after loss, and you lose again (as occasionally happens in my games). What should your buys look like going into third/fourth?
A huge aspect of economy I feel is missing in this guide regards mid-round decisions, such as:
-when should I decide to call a save when we're down numbers as Ts?
-how do I decide whether or not to go for a retake or save as CTs?
-when should I hunt saving players, and when should I not take the risk?
-when should I go for exit kills as CT, and when should I maximize my chance of saving?
-when should I be trying to die or save as a T when the round is running out of a time, when should I hunt Ts after time or leave them be, and when should I prioritize killing a T asap or waiting until after time when the clock is low?
I know in pugs, it seems most players opt to just "go for it" in these kind of situations almost every time, save for massive disadvantage such as being the last alive, but I'd still like to know what's "correct". If anything, it'd help me better understand the decisions made in more structured games.
How do you decide what to do going into a round where maybe 1/2 players saved after the round previous, and have a full buy while the rest of team requires a full save? How should you respond when a teammate dies after time and is bankrupt for next round? I guess the essential question is: what do you do when the economy is widely split, and you have mixed buys available?
Are there any general guidelines of when to go for shotguns or smgs over rifles for the purpose of farming cash or combating ecos, and when to upgrade from eco weapons?
How do you make the most of full save and light buys and play differently compared to full buys?
I could likely think of a ton more if I sat here long enough, but lastly, I'm curious about your opinion. Is the way the economy works and meta in CS2 balanced/fun, having adopted all the same rules for MR12 as CS:GO used for MR15? Do you think any changes are required, and do you see Valve implementing them anytime soon?
Win pistol round + 2 kills = AWP on round 2 😂
I reckon buying a helmet against a t full buy can be viable economically if their economy is about to break.
Happens quite often that you win a round against their full buy only to have 98% armor with no helmet the next and have to spend another 1000$ for that helmet as not to get overrun by SMG's
Lots of factors going into this.
Im confused. If you buy a helmet on full buy round and survive you are out $1600(armor + 1 helmet). Dont buy helmet on full buy round youre out 2000(armor + 2 helmets)?
@@bobnorman3094 Round 1 you play against Full buy Ts you don't need helmet so you pay 650 for armor. You win and survive but take a bit of damage so you're left with 98 Armor. Round 2 you need a helmet cause Ts won't full buy but because you took damage that helmet upgrade cost 1000$ so in total you paid 1650$ for armor over the two rounds.
Compared to if you know they can't full buy next round if you win this round and you buy helmet you pay 1000$, take a bit of damage but don't have to pay at all on round two so you save 650$.
Basically if your armor is damaged you can't only pay 350$ for the helmet upgrade you have to pay the full 1000$.
@@onoise1262 oh, makes sense. Thanks for the explanation :)
Found your channel when I was binging theScore -- excellent vid, really helped explain the economy clearly and concisely. Excellent resource for new players that I will highly recommend.
Thank you brother:)
This was helpful, I wasn't really familiar with the loss bonus before this. One thing I didn't hear mentioned but should be pretty obvious: always force/full buy on the last round of the half (round 12). You should also strongly consider force buying if the match is almost over, especially if you're losing. Getting a few kills to disrupt the enemy team's eco and improve your team's morale is a good use of a force buy in my opinion.
I love how this is the new era of CS TH-camrs. Keep it up man, as always!
Thank you so much brother:)!
buying every round a scout does not need a guide. I’m a man of class.
yo wsg Wilson i took at break from gaming and my computer in general and i just got back in time for cs2, im glad to see how much you have grow, good shit dude!!
Thank you so much bro!! It’s been an awesome journey so far. I’m glad you’re back!
From what ive gathered from playing with the current loss bonus system the following is a good rule of thumb if your full buy consists of armor + ak/a1 + some util
1 loss bonus, force buy since full save doesn't bring you to full buy next anyways unless you have over 3500$ already
2 loss bonus, dont go under 2000$
3 loss bonus, dont go under 1500$
4 loss bonus, dont go under 1000$
This has worked great in my games but to be honest this rule of thumb worked much better in mr15, i think the economy is a bit different now that there are less rounds
When I started in go, you'd get told to watch or just find warowl videos to learn this foundational stuff. Now we have the Wilson, the chilled out super baked gen z warowl. Your contents awesome man, keep it up.
😂😂 thank you so much man, it’s a huge compliment to be compared to war owl. Much love
Great video. The other reason to buy util when full buying is even if you dont use it (you should), your teammates can pick it up.
True, but as a newer player sometimes I'll buy nades, then I end up dying to an enemy who picks them up. Probably just a skill issue though lmao.
Greta point! Adding onto it, buying util is the only way you’ll meaningfully learn how to use them in a real game
i rly enjoy your laid back commentary style of talking on these vids makes it feel less serious but still solid information and i like that
Thank you brother:)
Hi, thanks for the video. What about the armor on the pistol round? Do we need to buy an armor?
Hey. Recently found your channel and your content seems to be helpful, well presented and overall enjoyable. Keep going!
Thank you!:)
One thing that was missing for me from this video is that if you have a worse buy, it may be a good idea to follow a guy that has a better gun than you so once he dies you can finish off the enemy with a refrag and/or get the gun of his. This way you can save a lot of money.
I'm not saying to bait your teammates, but this is a strat I use a lot as a solo q
Getting at 03:55
CT full buy doesnt exactly need to include a helmet, so make sure to take that into consideration :)
(sorry if thats being said at a later point in the video)
You’re spot on, and it was ;)
this is great and I wanna have this discussion with my 5 stack guys, but I wish you had footage of times that you had to make the kinds of decisions you talked about
Yup this is the kind of video I wish I had weeks to make. Unfortunately I had to cram it within a few days due to me going on a family trip
in csgo, if cts win pistol round but ts get a bomb plant, it was usually the strat to full save r2 to buy aks on r3
has mr12 changed this strat or something
My games have been plagued on my end with lack of money cuz i dont know much abt this aspect so really good video man it helps a lot!
Awesome bro I’m glad it’s helpful! Thank you for the comment:)
Thanks for your work. Idk what happened to people but it seems like everyone forgot how to manage eco. Maybe it's that there are fewer rounds? Going to propagate this info in any case.
I loved this video, great explanation. But I must counter argue your statements with Kevlar helmet with Nova every round
Me and my friends always full save if we lose the first round on CT Inferno and then go for the Astralis stack. We always get 2-3 kills with that 🤣
Astralis stack is always a banger and makes me laugh every time hahaha
You should upload more my dude. Your content is always relevant and easy to understand. For real though, Upload more lol
nice tips ty so much
Didn't know about the loss bonus not resetting when you win that's new to me, nice vid keep it up
Thanks dawg!:)
Wasn’t long enough! Great content man
Thank you so much brother:)
Never thought I'd be taking CS2 tips from Agent Petty
Great video! Really informative ,you disserve more subs!
I appreciate that brother!:)
And then you get the classic random that buys just a deagle or scout every round no matter what, or the guy who force buys every round. Or the negev every round guy. Always a good time haha.
It’s awesome when they end the game like 18-10 with you or something. Not when you have the MAC-10 rush down vents every round and go 4-17 guy.
nice clear video ty mate
Thank you bro:)
With the state of pistols atm i think it´s best for ct´s to buy at least a P250 (assuming you have at least one kill on pistol round).
Definitely a conversation to be had. The p2 is absolutely insane in terms of cost to value, so it’s hard to ever argue against not buying one lol
Another great guide as part of the growing Wilsons snack wisdom series 👌
❤️
I will say, if you have only enough for an AK or m4 and you are good with those weapons I would highly suggest buying 1 gun over a full load out with force buy guns. Dats jus means
I subscribed. thanks for the videos brother.
Awesome brother thank you:)
There’s another type of buy where one or two ppl force or full buy. The rest of the team plays passive and picks up guns
The economy guide we’ve all needed. Thank you so much Wilson.
Ps. The skins monkey segue was hilarious
Thank you awp:)!
return of the king
Before watching video, im curious if im correct
Pistols
Win - SMG
Lost but only 1 enemy alive - force
Lost but planted a bomb - mostly force
Lost a lot - Eco
After that:
2000$ Or less - full Eco
If more, spend to Have 2000$
(Buy p250)
If im full (kevlar + rifle) and still have 2000$ - 4 nades
If less buy only 2 nades
I have no idea about forces If i feel like enemy Lost a lot of money then forcing
Another banger of a video. Keep these coming!
Thank you brother will do:)
I love that u mention not buying head armour on CT when they have full buys. I see so many people buying it every single time such a waste of money.
best cs content creator out there
Skipping the helmet when you're on T side is something that should only be done if you can't afford it otherwise. You get into a lot of situations where you get hit in the head and would survive even if it's from an ak. Through boxes. Or doors. Even corners of walls. And the aimpunch from one of those headshots is massive without a helmet. And then there's many times where someone would have a galil. Or pull out their pistol. It would be silly to lose to a p250 so you could save 350 dollars. You're spending 5k on equipment. 4650 isn't much less. Especially in the long term. We're talking 3k in an entire half
I was looking for a lesson on real work economics and now I know CS2 economics.
Where are my vbucks? My lawyers will be in contact with you shortly
I’m sorry I spent it all on silly dancing fortnite emotes 😭
When he said “you know the rest” I subbed 😆
Now that we have loadouts, I would like a reminder of which guns to have/avoid in the loadouts.
Whatever you like most.
Generally for T you want
Pistols: Glock, p250, tec-9, deagle
Light weapons: Mac-10, Xm-2014
Rifles: Scout, Galil, AK, AWP.
For CT you want:
Pistols: Usp (or p2k), p250, dual Berettas, five seven and deagle
Light weapons: MP-9, Mag-7, XM-2014
Rifles: Scout, Famas, M4, AWP
That's the generally agreed on "best" weapons but you don't have to adhere by that.
Also you have some spaces left to fill in other stuff (Aug, 2nd m4, scar 20 for rifles as an example).
Just play whatever you want, if you like revolver and hate dual Berettas, don't use them and put in a revolver. It's all up to you
Weapons that suck and have no real benefit are bizon, Negev, MP-7/MP-5 and especially m249.
Bizon shoots paper bullets, Negev you can't move with (it's still somewhat viable if you're CT and especially lower elo), MP-7/MP-5 are just outmatched by the Mac-10 and MP-9 and m249 is the WORST weapon in existence.
always a hit my guy, thanks for this
Thanks dawg:)
Question, should i buy armor at pistol and then if i win and survive the pistol round go for a rifle and utils?
Yes! But if your armor takes damage during pistol round, you may have to rebuy it in order to get head armor, which won’t allow you to buy a rifle.
Great video!
Thank you!:)
This video should be MANDATORY with an exam for everyone playing CS. Perfectly explained.
This is the only cs2 teacher I actually find quite funny
THANK I PLAYED WINGMAN AFTER THISVID AND IT WAS 9 To 0 so ez and i subbed
Yo bro, whatd you rank in premier? I got placed much lower than i did in the beta.
Haven’t gotten mine yet:( was a few wins off but now I’m on vacation w my family. Will be streaming it though when I’m back:)
@@WilsonCS2 oh yo enjoy! I was wondering where you've been lol
It absolutely amazes me the amount of people ive ran into on cs2 with thousands of hours and still dont buy properly.
i stopped saving now that we're in a recession
😂
Bro explaining cs economy while my brain focusing on that classic knife animation lmao
also, drop your crosshair code pls
It’s in my discord (in vid description) :)
I’m a new CS player and your guides are incredibly useful
Happy to hear that bro thank you:)
thanks again for the guide wilson my cs flame has been relit
Let’s go mailbox!! Glad you’re back. We’ll run some ten mans soon when I’m back from vaca:)
Please do utility guide on how to use and such.
You make a economy video but you didn't mention something about armor, many people buy every round a 1000$ despite having already it on just not 100%, how low the armor can be before you refill it?
Check the video chapters! I have a full segment about armor.
Remember when a force buy mesnt grabbing Kevlar, a helmet, and a p250
whats your viewmodel settings xyz bro?
It’s in my discord! (In desc)
Not a big fan of saving CT on second round round after loosing pistol... Saving insure you to only have a "half decent" buy on round 3, which you are most likely going to loose due to T having a great economy, this brings you to basically a double save and only get you a full buy on round 5. On the flip side, if you force on round 2 you have a 70% chance of winning round 2. Even if you loose, with loss bonus you are guarantied to have a full buy ( M4, armor, full nades and kit) on round 4. Your first FULL buy comes one round earlier. Good video anyways tho ! Keep up your good work ! Take care dude !
Then there's me who just got really good with the MP5sd so i could spend the extra money to buy stuff for everyone else
Fnatic economy works?
WILSON back with another banger!!!
Back at it !!!❤️
Yo, a new wilson video, sheesh
Yo, a BJ comment, sheesh!
Amazing breakdown
Appreciate it brother:)
Wilson : " you should talk to your teamate to have a good economy "
* me crying in europe *
My teammates:
Round 1 - don't buy anything at all
Round 2 and every round after - buy buy buy
Good one❤
Thanks:)
you look like you could be Alfred Molina's son. also thanks for the tips :)
Wilson out here filling Warowl's shoes. Much love bro.
Thanks dawg ❤️
I didn't even know in game economics was a thing you had to pay attention to
5:43 100% Goodfellas mode out of nowhere
😂😂
This is awesome bro thanks.
Thanks dawg:)
epic video
love it
how to know that you reset enemy team?
I love learning how to use money in game than in real life 😌.
Its pretty simple for me. Pistol round and buy negev every round
they need to revert the CZ kill reward
what about grenade and molotov kills? how much they give you?
$300 as well:)
Got it, always force...
Best eco tip ever - dont buy guns you can't properly utilize. Why buy deag if you cant get HS. Buy 5-7 instead.
