I needed this Also, when you do a critical attack on malenia I recommend doing black flame tornado when she is out of the water and do a fully charged ancient dragon lightning strike if she is in water
On my first character (50/50 quality), I ended up switching from my trusty Militia Saw to a greatshield with the Cross-Naginata to poke her. This was significantly more consistent, but slower due to her healing. Bloodflame Blade on the Nagi was stronger by far, as hemmorrhage stuns her out of 99% of moves. However, this _still_ wasn't enough for me, and I switched the shield for Bolt of Gransax. The Lightning damage was an insane burst damage increase, especially with the Rotten Winged Sword talisman, and provided a ranged option for phase two (which I saw more often now). Ultimately, I went back and got Mimic Tear, then opened the fight with the greatshield so it could poke while I dual-wielded, and equipped Heal for it to survive longer (which it didn't use because it only copies the active weapon slots lol). I did _not_ anticipate how absurdly less difficult the fight was this way. Malenia having two targets to focus on while we both poked and popped bleed constantly was hilarious! The clincher? My second Mimic tear summon fight got her. It makes her way too easy, imo.
Strength build win. just beat her at lvl 139. stats 51,11,43,54,22,18,8,11. i used no spells, mimic tear, and starscourge +10.used green turtle and claw for bonus jump attack. i was smashing my face against the wall since i cant use any bleed weapons. the key i found was just play slow. jump attack back out jump attack back out. the starscourage special will put her on her ass then jump in for a free attack and if u can get 3 luck ones youll break her for a crit. this wasnt a 1 shot kill for me. took a few trys but playing slow worked in my favor since her movment is alot of rng and getting spammy with my attacks would punish me. best of luck
Update: With the 1.08 Patch, The Flames of the Redmane is likely less effective for this. I'll have to test its nerfed version.

I'll try all your tips when I fight her next time, thank you
whats the flame ashe of war called that breaks her stance?
Flame of the Redmane. However, it was Nerfed in the latest patch and now it takes 4 uses to break her stance.
