seeing a mod review in 2024 rlly brought me back to when i was little, sitting down and watching mibecraft mod reviews. i had a helicopter mom so i couldnt get into gmod until i was 15 back in 2021, so its fun to live a childhood i only sort of had like this. awesome video, hope you make more! :)

This seems like an amazing idea for a mod! but it could definitely use some improvements to make it really live up to its potential. If it got a remake or something there could also be player made addons for different characters, also making the buddy respond to what you do in game would be a must, the aesthetics could also be improved.
Im pretty certain you can use custom faces and sound effects if you place it within the gmod
directory

My display uses OLED so any part of the screen that's not lit up ( In this case the black bars on the edge since i use an ultrawide ) will cause a noticeable seam where the lit pixels meet the "off" pixels and i don't wanna damage it :(
