Thank you for the explanation 😅 so the extra crit DMG is for reassurance in case your target has impen. My only comment I guess is that maybe your mic needs to be higher in volume

What’s the cap on crit dmg? Heard it was 150 but might be 125

@@youngl1518 max crit damage is 125% but in PvP players will have critical resistance so you can go above this

Great vid for explaining crit damage to pvp players, the game knowledge is sorely lacking and misunderstood by players. If you use Balorgh's or onslaught (2h ulti) you can get over 30k pen, think there were a couple other sets that also ignore resistances. Major brittle (20% to crit dmg) is only available to warden and the nunatak set, but minor brittle (10% crit dmg) procs from ice staff conditions, it's why you see so many running frost staff and ele sus esp night blades. Ele sus, force pulse/ crushing shock and destructive clench/ reach all will proc minor brittle if used with a frost staff iirc.
Being hybrid meta now makes it easy to do this now. Hopefully your vid and this info will help change the landscape of pvp with more informed players so we can get back to big damage!
Edit: I'll reiterate what I've said elsewhere, base crit resist on all characters is 1320 or 20% reduction by default. A lot of ppl run rallying cry back bar and that is 1650 crit resist or 25% reduction. Rallying cry + base would give 45% crit reduction or 2970. The idea is at cp 160 you're level 66 so just divide your crit resist numbers by 66, here's the formula: Percentage Reduction = (Critical Resistance / [player level, capped at 66])

Yeah balorgh and berserk strike is a real favourite of mine been wanting to try, wish nb could squeeze on minor and major but ice staff is cool enough on back bar, rally cry is rife and need super high Crit to break through

@@projectjtl You can, a lot use ele sus back bar then swap, dots aren't active like in gw2 where as they roll the effects can be changed by swapping weps, here it's w/e you proc with. That's why that 1-2 shot gank build works insanely well. The asylum frost staff + winter reborn + draugr kin + bow back bar for snipe. Spam crushing shock. It works well enough you could even one bar it and just use the asylum staff. There's a few variations of this.

@@projectjtl ps. take a look at the trial gear, esp the asylum bow for an interesting idea for bow gank ;)

@@gharm9129 yes I’ve been looking at asylum staff gank but I still done understand why winterborn is being used ? Other sets look stronger

@@projectjtl winterborn hits hard esp for ranged, is not telegraphed and might be something they forgot to adjust like they did with other sets. 400+ sets I'm sure they missed more than a few. But the crutch of the build is asylum staff, draugr kin, ele suc and crushing shock. Any of the sets that add damage to your attacks do work to but iirc most of them are melee and draugr kin can be either. All that little damage from many attacks adds up fast.

It's unfortunate that just stacking crit damage will nerf everything else about your build lol

Yes very true can get away with it on gank but that’s about it lol
