    I plan to start my very first project tomorrow. I've been watching the videos and I actually love them! As a rule, I prefer the printed word. Too many video makers spend the first half of the video talking about every other thing but what the tutorial is about. I'm sure they're just trying to be friendly but tutorials for for learning. Some talk so fast that you have no clue what they just said and sort of gloss over a lot of things such as sizes, papers, types of glue and other little things are important to a beginner. These tutorials should be used as lessons on how to present tutorials. I even heard Meridith mention what brand of glue she used. To me, it's those little things that I find to be important. These tutorials are very clear, easy to understand, and every little thing is covered. I have no doubt that I will be doing every single one of them! Many thanks, Meridith. I a going to enjoy this new adventure.

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use Elmer's Glue All in my needle nose bottles for most projects, and Tacky Glue for more 3D quilling. For Tacky Glue, I dip my paper right in it, or apply the glue with a toothpick.

    To make this smaller you would just make smaller petals and a smaller center???

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! You can experiment with using a smaller comb or by using less loops on the petals.

    What kind of fringing scissors do you use?

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t use fringing scissors because they are pretty expensive. The scissors that I’m showing in the video belonged to my Nana many years ago. I think they’re just tiny scissors that came from a manicure kit!

  • @mist4926

    I didn't catch kind of glue. Mine is soooooo hard to squeeze out. Wonder if I should add water

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use regular Elmer's. Try storing it upside down. That should help with clogging. Be careful with adding water. You could make your paper wrinkly 🙂
