Faaantastic. Very nice gift. This is a beautiful knife. I have a GP from them and it's beautiful. All scratched up now....but...sigh* I enjoy it. I'm gonna snag a NL5cxl very soon. Let's use 'em. We have to use 'em. :P
Fallkniven is actually a swedish company and they have been producing knives since 1984. That being said in my experience they are every bit the quality you'd expect from a japanese knife maker. Both countries have proved to be great knifemakers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Interesting. I'll look more into it. I was unaware they had outsourced their manufacturing. Either way you slice it, a beautifully made production knife. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
new Subscriber very nice i always dreamed of a knife like that, take care
Got mine 1 week and processed 13 rabbits 1 raccoon
I wish they would make more knives in MagnaCut steel and Desert Iron Wood.

I agree. would be a disservice to let this knife go unused. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it.
HELL yeah!
That's beautiful & that laminate is something else:) Going to get one myself to replace a Benchmade Mountain Skinner that I gave to my son.
Beautiful blade, I own a few of the "X series" knives in laminated cos, and I couldn't be more happier. Thanks for sharing!
Just ordered one an can't wait
Beautiful knife congrats. The F1 leather sheath works for this knife also just an FYI.
good to know. thanks for watching.
Just got this knife after watching your review and couple others. Would like to see some fire prep
I'll see if i can make that happen for you in the future. I've had others ask as well.
@@pointpleasant it’s a gorgeous knife. Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow

@@pointpleasant yeah no worries. I was surprised to hear it too when I first found out.
Any blade coming out of seki city Japan is quality 👌
convex grind or scandivex
Everything I can find says it's convex.
Sweet
Thanks for watching.
Can you throw it at a 25ft target and see how well it throws?
I might give it a try but im no knife thrower. I'd be lucky to stick a dedicated throwing knife let alone a bushcraft blade.
