- Adam "Hangman" Page chats with Chris Van Vliet backstage at Ring of Honor's Bound by Honor show in West Palm Beach, FL. He didn't seem to know what the Balor Club was which was kinda awesome, he also talked about how Luke Gallows gave him the Hangman nickname, his love of Pop Tarts and how he wanted to be either a magician or circus performer as a kid.

Page is so good. So happy he got into the Bullet Club which gave him the exposure he deserves. Guy is so athletic , takes tons of risk. He gives it all.

Also, I had the honor of seeing Page reeeeally early in his career and even recorded a lot of his matches. If he watches this back, it is Big Mike from SCWA. Then I seen him go from there to other promotions like CWF, then eventually Ring of Honor, and now this huge rise he has had in the last few years. Kinda feel proud in a way to have seen his growth and progress. He deserves every bit of it, he was always cool as hell and humble.

He said he got the "Hangman" gimmick from Luke Gallows? Hmm... so there was an episode of Supernatural called Beyond the Mat, and it came out literally three months before Page started his gimmick. In that episode, it had The Miz and also a wrestler named "Hangman" Larry Lee, who had the same gimmick as well as the same moniker. Seems kinda fishy to me 🤔
