Imposter Factory was the first game in the series that I played first before watching you guys play it, and in addition, i played all 3 games with my best friend all in one sitting, and it was a very emotional night. I remember Imposter Factory very fondly for that reason.
I love Impostor Factory so much. It's such a wild departure from the usual formula for Sigmund Corp while also feeling like it fits so perfectly. Can't wait to see y'all's reactions to the whole game. If you haven't heard it, there is a lyrical song for the game that wasn't included in-game because they felt it wasn't right for that particular game to have the lyrical song as part of the game itself. The song is "Great Wide Unknown" by Pealeaf.
I somehow have had the great misfortune of directly relating to the core "issue" of all three games on a very personal level. A triple whammy of personal attacks by Kan Gao. He keeps kicking me when I'm down.
There isn't any pasta in this video! This is not a great representation of an in pasta factory experience.

I never thought you'd do a traditional LP again and I'm glad I was wrong! Not that the streams are _bad_ but they're definitely not the same thing, and this is the type of game that called for the old style so it was a good choice. Looking forward to seeing where the game goes, having seen episode 1 so far, and about to watch episode 2.
I was a big fan of To The Moon. I remember being in the rare position of introducing the game to folks back in the day. It was great. I enjoyed A Bird Story, but then I never got the chance to check out the following games. I had just never been in the right mindset to play Finding Paradise, and even though you say Impostor Factory can be standalone, I feel like it wouldn't be right personally if I play that without playing Finding Paradise. Someday.
I'm very excited for this LP. I got "Impostor Factory" the day of release and played through it the same day and with these kinds of games (a.k.a Freebird Games- see what I did there? 😂) I just really like seeing people's reactions and hearing their thoughts and especially theories. Like you said in this video, while "Impostor Factory" _is_ a standalone game, the impact that the ending of IF will have on you will just be so much bigger and stronger if you _have_ experienced the other games. And also the fact that you'll recognise things and kinda know what things are about. Sometimes. :P
Man, Impostor Factory did made me sob around the end, and it was different compared to Finding Paradise, which I keep near (probably more than To The Moon), being someone who had/has "imaginary" friends.
I think you two should have a whizz at Rakuen someday, it's a game done by Laura Shigihara and it's just as emotional (maybe heavier cause of its premise??) but has great characters and music. It's got a Switch release recently as well as being on Steam.
I love the streams, but I'm happy to see a traditional lets play, I miss the style. There is for sure a different atmosphere when lets plays are done off stream.
Do you have plans for when you’ll letsplay The Last of Us Part II, I’ve been so excited to watch yours!
Yeah, I first experienced The Last of Us through his LP of it and I've been waiting for the day that the TLOU2 playthrough starts. It'd probably be a normal pre-recorded LP as well, but it'd be a long one, so I can see why Stephen is waiting to find the right time to commit to it.
Yay, finally!!! I played IF once soon after its release and haven't played it since. Honestly, I was disappointed by it, but I think a big reason for that was because the horror elements ruined the experience for me (I'm not a fan of horror games). After reading reviews from others about their experiences playing the game, I've been meaning to play it again and give it another chance, but I still haven't. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys thought of the game; and hopefully, now that I know what to expect, I can come out of this LP with a greater appreciation for the game and its message.
Thanks for reminding me I gotta play this! I remember picking up to the moon because i liked the start of your lets play and wanted to experience it myself before finishing your lets play. I might have to do that again!

Was there a reason you opted to record around the computer as opposed to outputting to a tv to use the streaming couch setup w/o face cam?
I wanted to use headsets like we used to do because the sound profile is so different than when we're on the couch. I like the couch a lot, and I think it sounds good, but this really helped push the feel of our traditional let's plays.
Twas a fun episode to watch! The first one, that is.

FP was a perfect sequel, and I felt IF missed the mark. Still good though.
Well I mean... Imposter Factory isn't really a sequel and more of a side story. Though I get what you mean. It's been awhile, though I don't think it had quite the same impact on me like Finding Paradise did.
Since I'm in Norway were it's actually Spring, but the weather gods are like "let's have eternal Winter instead" I'm getting jealous at the part where you're filming from your walk because I would love that for me instead of more Winter. I'm happy for you to have nice "take a walk" conditions, but I still long for that where I am too.
I'm so confused! You keep going back and forth before and after Myrtle Beach and the continuity issues are crazy. If you boys are going to get haircuts on the same weekend, at least keep the vids in chron. order. 😃(Just joking, but it is kind of funny)
