Hands down, this is the most achieved film look I've ever seen among TH-cam filmmakers.

Dude this is so good! I have had the same cam now for about 5 months and wouldnt have thought, that this is possible. You just made it look like in a movie. Probs! But what really flashes me the most is the color grading, and the diversity of aperture and angels. Where did you learn this things, if I may ask?

Nice work, I would add a liitle bit more contrast in grading but that's just me, overall very good job, I like the mood, music suits veryv well :)

Excellent work! I love those shots of the abandoned building as they walked inside. The props, camerawork, and costumes were really well done for something that was meant to be a simple story. Cool idea and great execution.

Beautiful camera and lighting! You guys did a great job, my only comment would be that it seems a tad slow in the first half.
Loved the visuals and atmosphere you managed to build with this - HUGE PROPS! I used the Zomei variable ND filters too - they are awesome for getting a softer, more filmic look. What make you choose the a6300 over the a6500? I use a t3i right now and I'm thinking about side-upgrading to one of these (with new lenses of course), but I'm not sure which one to go for...

Thanks for the awesome reply - why would you say the a6500 if I can afford it? The price difference can mean a lens or the gimbal could be bought? Just wondering if the IBIS (the only real BIG feature difference apart from the touchscreen?)
Also, which picture profile/codec did you use? I'm leaning towards one of the log profiles?
yes IBIS. if use 6300 + lens with OSS = no difference. but if lens has no OSS, IBIS its advantage, especially on longer focal distances. for me Sigma lenses for this system gives the best picture quality and they all without OSS. now I have Samyang 12mm, sigma 30 f1.4 and I love it more then all sony lenses (in terms of picture quality. autofocus, oss....- better on sony).
I like Slog2/3, great on color grading. Sometimes I use Cine4/2.
Wow stunning visuals bruv! How did u shot that lowlight scene (the stairs inside the building) without any noise artifacts on the dark areas?
this scenes captured in 4k, shutter 1/50, f4, maximum iso ~5000, slog2. I am trying overexposure 1-2 stops and lower exposure in premiere (for minimum noise), it is right way to use slog.
Whats that at 5:01 lower right? Some kind of effect?

A really great short film. Cinematography, editing, sound track, all really good. No dialogue too I notice. I think bad (vocal) acting is one of the things that let a lot of amateur films down, so the easy way to get around it is to have no speaking :-).

What settings do you use for the focus? I always have trouble with things getting out of focus it sucks because it’s always trying to focus on something
87K Filmz always Zone. But it depends on the lens, Sony 18-105 works great.

Hi, your film is nice. Say, please, did you use s log 2 when you went to the dark room? Just I know that shouldn't use s log in the dark because can be artephacts.
да в темноте тоже слог, там было 4000-5000 исо, но на монтаже я занижал экспозицию, чтоб уменьшить шум. главное правило съемки в слог - снимать с пересветом +2 и потом на посте опускать хайлайты... и да он больше подходит для яркого солнца, в темных помещениях лучше использовать cine 4/2 + sgamut 3 cine.
Does the camera over heat at all when shooting 4k, also how much storage does 5 mintues of 4k take up on SD
Yes, it overheats when shooting 4k approximately 10 min. 128gb sd ~ 2,5 hours.

most of the shots on sony 18-105, it has great autofocus.
