The old jail was so tiny!!! It would of been so unbearable to be in , crazy to see the ball and chain Great explore again by one of the great urbex channels!!!
I have been away for a few days, just saw this, sorry for being late! excellent! The ball & chain was incredible, but the shower gave me chills! Great work my friend!
Welcome back! Thanks for watching Kevin. We're glad you liked this video. Stay tuned for Sunday, we have a really cool abandoned funeral home were dropping :)
A lot of time and effort put into research. Then you gotta travel all around the country and hope the building is still there, and hasn't been renovated or bought recently. Its a very long process to find places like this that haven't been explored much. But in the end its all worth it!
@@abandonedcentral sounds totally worth it. If I thought of this as a possible career choice before I went into my profession I would be doing the same thing. You have my admiration and respect for your creativity.
I worked at a tdcj prison off and on for a decade. Our prisons were nicer but not by much. More and more are being closed all the time due to a shortage on man power, don't know if you could get in one to explore though.
That's not a real ball and chain. I'm a welder and I constructed it for them. The ball weighs 23 pounds that I founded at a flee market, I hade the chain in my shop, and the shackle is a $10 knock off I found on the internet. Plus they did not pay me for it either. anything to make a buck. If you don't believe me I have the mate to that ball that I can show you pictures of. If anyone would like a ball and chain exactly like that one, for $75 plus fright you got it. They were not exactly upfront in their business dealings and I wouldn't trust them again.
Why was there a small rug and a sleeping bag in one of the cells? Is that yours or a homeless persons? An abandoned jail is the last place I would want to sleep if I were homeless. Imagine falling asleep in there and waking up to being locked in. Better hope you have a cell phone and working signal.
Well Jason, don't quit your day job lol. Just so you know, this jail is across the country from where I live. You think I took a real ball and chain on an air plane, just to stage it in 1 of the 30 locations I was filming on that road trip? I get a bunch of dumb comments every week but this ones at the top of the list.
Its crazy to me that this doesn't have more views! Amazing stuff my dude, history IS amazing
Thanks for watching! We're still growing our channel slowly but surely!

We try to get into the ones we can, but jails and prisons can be locked up pretty good haha! Thanks for watching!

you would need a bulldozer to escape from that place.

Who else was there with you? There's a couple of times where you can hear voices.
Just a friend who doesn't want to be on camera.

Not exactly sure about the rugs but I bet at some point a homeless person probably lived in here.
What if u got locked in by accident. 😆
i bet you the ball and chain was planted

Of course it was planted by me. I'm a welder I made it for them. Long ways from authentic.
SOMEHOW, to ME, anyway, the RED PAINT SPLATTED EVERYWHERE LOOKS like BLOOD STAINS AFTER a RIOT in THERE!
