you made me laugh with your side note to self comments. You are so funny. Ok, I agree the slices were way too thick, but as usual you made it look amazing. You never mentioned how you liked the version of tartar sauce you created. I know capers are salty, but did they accent or overwhelm? p.s. McDonald's Filet-o-fish is pretty tasty when they cook it fresh for you. No good if it has been sitting in the warmer. ✌
I love tartar sauce.. only for fish tho.. I was hoping you would use the Old Bay.. Gotta have it. I heard the Panko crumbs are really good for fish frying. The frying in the pan looks so good. I don't think I've had a Nashville Hot Fish Sandwich. I always just do the chicken. That COD came out good. Well done dude,, that sht looks so good.
As I was editing I was thinking the same, I wish I used it more beside in just the batter. I appreciate it, the Nashville fish sando is definitely something every one should try cus it blew me away😂 thanks for the comment
I'm with you I'm one of those ones that do not like American cheese, But to say this I would try this fish sandwich and I've never had a Nashville sauce seasoning on a fish sandwich that's why yeah I'm up for it I'll try it first time I've seen you and I'm beginning to fall in love with you already can't stop watching your video. Have a good one, Sending my Love out to ya😊❤
I like fish sandwiches. I haven't ever bought one at McD's but when I worked there, sometimes I'd eat them. I actually made a "Big Fish" by replacing the burgers with fish patties and the special sauce with tartar sauce a few times. It was quite good for fast food! I'm going to have to try this.
@deraythecook It looks so good. I made chili dogs the same way you did like two weeks ago. When I say they were amazing 👏🏽 I appreciate you for putting me on game 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣🤴🏾
When I saw the thumbnail, i thought that the fish was too thick for a sandwich. The breading and the rest of the sandwich (except for the Nashville sauce) looked good. I enjoy tartar sauce and I like capers. I will try adding capers to my tartar sauce. I had never heard of "Nashville style" until a few years ago (and i lived in Nashville for several years). I dont like the flavor of it.
Were you influenced?
Yes
Looks delicious! 😋
I appreciate it and thanks for the comment

The tartar sauce was honestly pretty good, I’m not mad at it. It really complemented the fried fish. Thanks for the comment

@@DERAYTHECOOK I'm probably older than your parents so yes, they used better ingredients back then. But now I want to make one at home!
What type of oil?
I used veggie but whatever oil you’re comfortable frying with works too. Thanks for the comment

Tartar sauce sure is good stuff! I have loved it since I was a young kid, but never knew what was actually in it... Never stop learning!
Never stop learning I agree with that! After making my own tartar sauce I see why it’s good stuff. Thanks for the comment
